hi, i have a small request if it is possible

is what we can have of other or to change emoticons them current because we do not have a heart,no angel, no kiss, no... love, there is that emoticon of bad guys (and we never use it)

I think there is a way you can add your own graemlins to the board if you don't like the ones that are listed.

Perhaps someone could explain how to do it please.... ;)

Not sure if this is what you want, but it is the only way I know. I dont believe it is possible to change whats given on the board, that would require coding.

You can find yourself a small GIF, like these and post them with the image button at the bottom. If you want any of these, right click on one, go to properties, copy the address, and post it using the image button below.

thats a good explanation of how to do it, but using someone elses links for smilies/graemlins will use up the bandwidth for that account. if someone wants to use their own, they should save them to their computer and upload them to their own account. this way no ones account hits a bandwidth limit and people visiting the board dont see nothing but little red x's. ive never had a problem with imageshack, but i have with photobucket. thats why if i like something, i save and upload it myself.

They are Imageshack, there really small, I dont think thell be a problem if a few people post them, Imageshack should be able to handle it.

you would think thats true, but thats not always the case. its not the number of people that use it, but the number of people that view the pages with the pics on them. if 2 people use the same .gif and each gets 500 page views, thats 1000 times the .gif has to load. i understand they are small, but it does add up. also, people tend to delete images they dont use from their accounts all the time, so i just think its a better idea to have something like that in my own account so i know it will be there when i need it. thats just my opinion, so you can do it any way you like. im just saying what i prefer and have found to be the easiest for me.

If you want to use different ones and you have a little money ($20 US I think) is to try a program called GetSmile found HERE. Not only does it come with tons but you can add your own and it's very easy to use. You can also add things to it like avatars and sig pics in their own category if you create it. There's also the option of downloading a trial version so you know if it works and is what you want. Not sure if that helps but I hope so. <-- from the program btw.
