Golden Globes

Has anyone heard anything about Love attending the Golden Globes Monday? I know neither she nor the show is nominated, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. There are always the parties afterward, too. ;)

Evidently JLH is NOT a presenter this year.
Nothing has been officially announced by the
press.

She hadn't had a hit TV series for more than
6 years, and didn't win the People's Choice
Award...it's been too long since "Party of
Five" and "Ghost Whisperer" is too new...

Only thing I'd heard announced, was Wayne
Harada (Honolulu Advertiser) Jan. 5,9,and 11,
2006,revealing that JLH had been in Maui and
would "present a DRESS in the hoopla surround-
ing the Golden Globes".

Which is some kind of doubletalk, probably
meaning that she'll attend at least one of
the afterparties.

It's possible that JLH will even attend an
UNOFFICIAL after-party. In that case,you WON'T
see photos on WireImage...but likely, on the
paparazzi sources (such as clasos.com).

Love will never be nominated for an award voted on by critics. Critics hate her and they hate GW. Just read the reviews of the show and of her performance. She is not well regarded by film and tv critics.

It is true that many critics are quick to dismiss her, and many made fun of GW before they had seen it, but most of them have shut up since. There was even one who apologised for being hasty (link posted here somewhere).

Perhaps no nominations this year or next, but never say never !

These words of foolish wisdom from our little mythmaker in Canada. So when were the words of critics held in high regard in the first place? Awards come and go. I certainly agree that Love will have a much more difficult fight to get any recognition. Hatred and never are complete nonsense. Believe it or not Party of Five won a Golden Globe in it's day. Stranger things have happened throughout the years. I'm not defending Love's talents, I'm not saying Ghost Whisperer deserves any accolades either. It's simple entertainment, Love and the cast are doing fine, a hell of a lot better than "In the Game".

It's now Tuesday, Jan. 17, the day afte the
Golden Globes.

Although Wireimage.com has photos of the event,
NO JLH is shown there! I also tried Rexfeatures.
com as well as clasos.com .

WHAT GIVES?? :confused:

Certainly, didn't JLH attend at least an
unofficial after-party? Somebody with hard-to-
access limelight.org please report...or any
other alternate paparazzi source...

Note: 2006 marks the first time in years
that Merv Griffin DIDN'T own the Beverly Hilton
(where the Golden Globes are always held). It
was sold recently. And the awards were on a new
day (Monday instead of Sunday.)

So, apparently for the first time in FIVE YEARS
JLH didn't attend ANY Golden Globes after-party!

(In 2001 Love was stuck in New York filming
"Devil and Daniel Webster" and COULDN'T be
in Beverly Hills!)

Well, if Love was in Maui resting, which she deserves then I don't blame her and personally would rather hear about her resting (since she works some long ass days), and if she was home starting to film again, then maybe she COULDN'T due to the schedule...I actually like the fact that Love puts forth a lot of engery into her work, it shows she's dedicated. Maybe next year she'll be needed at the actually event. ;)
