Rumor - 90210

Variety Magazine is reporting the rumor that Hilary Duff is the producers and the CWs first choice for a role in the new Beverly Hills 90210 TV show remake.

No word if Hilary will take the role, but its almost certain the CW is offering it.

Other the CW apparently want are Kristin Bell, Jennie Garth, and AnnaLynne McCord.

WOW that's interesting. It would be good to see her on T.V again.

i heard she turned the role down to try and break out of the teen genre a bit....dont have a source, just thought id pass it along.

^ She told E! News today that she thought it was an interesting idea and wanted to see a script first but hasn't said yes or no.

I don't know what War, Inc. or Greta will do for her career but she hasn't had much movie success with her last few projects so I don't think it would be a bad idea for her to go back to tv. She could rebuild her fan base and maybe pick up new ones, and still make movies and music in her off time.
