Well, I agree with you trucherrygirl, but for a different reason.

TMZ.com has a habit of being rude to whatever celebrity they post. When these are posted here on the forum, we're delving into's Eliza's private life in a way that seems inappropriate to me. She apparently had a moment with Rick, and naturally, some papparazzi was there to catch her.

While I'm glad to see her finding happiness, this is still her own business and we as fans shouldn't intrude. I'm not trying to pick on the original poster that put the link up, but I do think we owe Eliza the respect on this forum of allowing her some privacy by using care on what is posted about her life.

Sigh. She is kissing him in public. She is a "famous face" as is he. It goes with the territory. I see absolutely nothing wrong with the photo or it being posted here. When I was mod we changed the rules slightly to this effect, if Tash doesn't approve I suggest she changes them back before we get into another boring Eliza's private life discussion for the 10000000 time.

I've always believed that when you become a celebrity, with all the perks, priviliges, and money that comes with it, you give up most of your privacy. As long as you are out in public, pics like this are fair game and I'm sure both of them are fully aware of it.

Bill, Keri, I bow to your beliefs. Frankly, I posted my thoughts late at night and I knew after I posted it, it probably wouldn't be popular.

As a matter of fact, I thought the pictures were very sweet, and as you said, they were in public. You're right in saying they are both public figures and I'm sure Eliza herself knows the value of PR as she's not afraid of doing anything to promote any project she's working on. But I am saying when it comes to her private life we owe it to her to be respectful at all times. Enough said, by me, anyway.

(There was another video on the TMZ site that showed a videographer asking her if she was teased about her last name when she was in school, pronouncing her name like a feminine hygene product. That was totally inappropriate, and she neatly handled it by pronouncing her name correctly and walking away from the jerk!)

I agree with your comments Tru, Kerri and Bill. Though I wouldn't class Eliza as a celeb. That term is for me, someone eho's famous for being famous, Like Ms Hilton. Eliza isn't a celeb, as she's famous for being an actress.

As for this guy, I'm not sure what'll happen. Lets see in a week if we see him with her in public.

Although Eliza posted on Twitter she was being literally stalked by one of those guys earlier today. For her to say something it must have been very upsetting.

I get the whole comes with the job argument but at times it is just plain wrong

I just saw that tweet, Tash and it upset and worried me, too. I liked her response, "He IS gonna answer".

Some of these papparazzi can be d*mned aggressive, I hope she has whoever this was dealt with by the law.

As upsetting as her tweet was and as passionate as we are about her as an actress and as a person lets just keep this on topic and not get in to a debate about the whole private life thing.

We are all entitled to what we think and feel but lets just keep this about what this is.
