Fox seemed to dither about it when asked... but finally came forward with this statement: “The series has not been renewed yet. Any renewal announcement would be made at the upfront Presentation a week from today.” Maybe I'm just being optimistic, but I reckon it might be good to go. Also, around the same time all this stuff was being speculated about Eliza posted the rather enigmatic "Wouldn't you like to know... Come on, can't really tell y'all EVERYthing. But keep coming back." Hmmmmm. Man, new Dollhouse this fall would be awesome. Last edited by Keri; 05-12-2009 at 11:42 AM.. |

| I don't want to get my hopes up either, cuz this is already torture. But I sure do hope and pray it would be given a chance. What we can do to help - ask FOX for second season by: 1. Email Mr. Peter Rice (Chairman of Entertainment) askfox@fox.com 2. Phone: 310-369-3066 (viewer comment line) 3. Tweet @FoxBroadcasting Do you think there is a plan B in case FOX cancels? |

As far as we know, Dollhouse is being discussed right now/this week. We also know that FOX WANTS this to work, they just need to make it financially doable, so they are working on that. There's a RABID fan base out there for Dollhouse, we're getting all the 'Sleepies' together and spreading our love for DH!! Last edited by Jess10; 05-12-2009 at 05:08 PM.. |

Guess we have to wait until Monday to know for sure, but I too am keeping the faith ;) Quote:

Seriously, here's hoping they give them another chance, and I'm sure F*x is looking closely at the DVD sales. So, our duty is clear, get as many people as possible as excited about Dollhouse as we are. Last edited by Tru Faith In Eliza; 05-13-2009 at 08:18 PM.. | |

| Dollhouse fans crash FOX phone system asking for second series. Submitted by Kevin.Beaumont on May 14, 2009 – 7:27 pm Dollhouse actress Miracle Laurie mentioned fans should call FOX a few hours ago — likely unaware of what would happen. Reports started to emerge from fans about problems calling. We tried calling the viewer feedback number, to find it out of order. End Of Show checked with Fox, who confirmed their voicemail system has been floored by fans of Joss Whedon’s series asking for the show to return. Sources at Fox say the show is still in the running for renewal and talks continue. The official line is that the announcement will be made at Fox’s upfront Presentation on Monday. Source |

It's been reported by Variety and it's been picked up by a lot of other news outlets, let's keep our fingers crossed. As Fox preps for its upfront presentation on Monday, the net is said to be on the verge of renewing Joss Whedon's frosh drama "Dollhouse," and it has added another laffer to its frosh slate for the 2009-10 season. Word spread Friday ayem that "Dollhouse" is looking good for a 13-episode sophomore renewal and is likely to stay in its Friday night berth. The 20th Century Fox TV fantasy drama starring Eliza Dushku has delivered modest but consistent ratings on a low-trafficked night, thanks to Whedon's built-in fan base. http://www.variety.com/article/VR111...goryid=14&cs=1 |
