Fingers crossed he remains tru(e) to his word. I saw Serenity last night and it got me thinking, if Dollhouse were to meet an untimely end, would Joss go and make a feature film to tie up most of the loose ends? Also UK Fans (Who don't watch online): 1 week to go!!! |

"This isn’t a good sign: Sources confirm to me exclusively that Fox has decided to pull Dollhouse off the schedule during November sweeps. Joss Whedon’s ratings-challenged drama is expected to return in December and air back-to-back episodes on Friday night. Bottom line: Barring a ratings miracle, Dollhouse will be shut down for good after it completes its current 13-episode order." http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/10/...se-for-sweeps/ |

How do they expect to grow an audience or get higher ratings if they keep putting blocks in between episodes. Not happy Jan. I'm hoping by some miracle we get AMAZING ratings this Friday and they change their mind but who knows...I'm just annoyed that they did all that promo with the Summer Glau episodes after the last episode and now people will have to wait even longer.....grr Fox you suck Last edited by liljemsey; 10-22-2009 at 03:31 AM.. |

In the US, tonight's (10/23) episode will be the last for October; they won't broadcast an episode on October 30. Which is irritating, considering it's the first of a two parter. The show will be off all of November (big help, there FOX, you really su*k) and then resume on December 4 with back-to-back double episodes on December 4, December 11 and December 18. However, following its double runs in December, FOX confirmed that "Dollhouse" will return to its regular Friday, 9:00/8:00c time slot in January preceded by programming to be announced. Note that FOX will air its coverage of the 76th Sugar Bowl on Friday, January 1. Which means ANOTHER hiatus from December 19th through January 8th, three more weeks that the show can languish and lose more viewers. I've really tried to stay optimistic, but it's becoming more and more obvious FOX is leading us down the "Firefly' garden path. It's gonna take some real strong ratings to pull this off to keep Dollhouse on the air. I hope Joss learns his lesson well and never works with FOX again. (Apparently, 2.04 "Belonging" was not the Part 1 of 2 episodes, my bad. At least the episodes 2.05 and 2.06 will be shown together) Last edited by Tru Faith In Eliza; 10-24-2009 at 02:04 PM.. | |

I really, really hope that this isn't true, as I really think this show has so much scope to tell stories. The characters are just beginning to be fleshed out. I've seen episode 1 of the new series and I really thought it was great that they let Amy more into it, she was beginning to creep me out, but in a good way, during the ep. Eliza was great as usual, but I like the fact it's not all her (ok I do like watching Eliza alot), but we can look at the other characters as well. Tru: I said that about this show when it was confirmed that F*x were showing it. As for the show possibly being pulled, does anyone think that it can get new life on another channel over there, and stick two fingers up to F*x in the process? P.s. On Tuesday, Sci Fi will be showing the 3rd ep of the season. So as it stands, how far are we behind you guys? And I guess that we'll have a break as well ![]() |

| Junior Member ![]() ![]() | Well at least Dollhouse will finally get a great lead in... itself. :/ We can all still work hard to promote the show. A whole month to get the word out and hype it up. Maybe get the Balloon boy to talk about it. Last night's episode was phenomenal. I love this show, and each of its characters. |

It's like computer advertisements where people will see it if they're passing by or going to use the computer. The website has a strong homepage that might captures someones interest. |
