Sadly not much, only that she does the voice of the heroine, and Malcom McDowell (A Clockwork Orange, Heroes) does the voice of the villian. Hopefully in the next issue they'll have another trailer. They also reckoned that it'll be out in October. So maybe the demo will be out in September?

Video-game based movie, not a bad idea. I still love watching Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft, and the character is still popular enough to generate new games and a possible prequel has been talked about with Summer Glau as a younger Lara Croft.

Eliza could so DO Rubi Malone, she's athletic enough to pull it off.

Cheers for the vid link. Funny how you're all talking about Tomb Raider (I've gone back to play it - trophies you see). Seeing Eliza as Lara would be great, but I don't want to put a dampner of video game to film adaptations. How many have been really good? For example, the Resident Evil films are just loosly based on the game. Idiot exec's had a script from George A. Romero and turned it down! It followed the story of the first game! I hope that the game is great and that it does really well (I'd love a copy myself).

Ps, yeah the trailer does play like Grindhouse. They even got the same voice over guy from 'Machette'!

Cool! Thanks for this! UK release date is 18th September! I read a industry mag interview with one of the developing team and there's a rumour of a second game. But it's a case of see how this'll do first.

Update:

UKers! Get ahold of PSW magazine (I know it's on 360 too), as it has an interview with the guy who created WET. From what was said about it, it sounds really cool. The graphics are amazing, plus the second level has you jumping from car to car on the Golden Gate bridge! The action is quite slick, as you have to keep moving to take out your enemies. Plus you can fire two guns in seperate directions! You can fire straight ahead, then fire over your shoulder, as you're running!

It sounds really good, and I dearly hope this is an excellent game. And that there's a great dose of Eliza's voice in it.

Just to let you all know, there's a demo version online to download now. It's pretty good to be fair! A mix of Tomb Raider, Prince Of Persia, Matrix games, and Kill Bill! It does flow well, and the bit where Rubi dived through the roof is the opening level.
