Thought this needed a new thread. I'm guessing there will be extensive news on every step.

Today is the first day of shooting, so good luck to all.

It says Eliza is also an executive producer. In the glossary it means:
Executive Producer

AKA: Executive in Charge of Production
A producer who is not involved in any technical aspects of the filmmaking process, but who is still responsible for the overall production. Typically an executive producer handles business and legal issues. See also associate producer, co-producer, line producer.

I'm guessing they had a small party for the openning and Joss gave a speach! But that's just me.

You know what? I so want to see Eliza swimming! I don't know why but we've only seen her in bikinis or jumping to save someone like in TC but never seen her swimming under the sun and just having fun.

Looks like the launch for Dollhouse will be May 15th. According to Dollverse:
“Dollhouse to be presented to press and advertisers May 15th. We should find out if Dollhouse is Fall or mid-season then. Yes, a tentative launch date for your calendar. Expect a lot of news that week.”

A funny little tidbit from Kristin at E!Online, she was recapping the newest Lost episode (mild spoilers for Lost viewers)

"We learned tonight that Nadia was killed three blocks from La Brea and Santa Monica, which just so happens to be the very area in which Joss Whedon was shooting Dollhouse today! Coinkydink? You bet!"

Thought it was worth mentioning since we still haven't gotten much Dollhouse pics/news.

Joss and team were shooting downtown LA the first day. I read that on fox.com.
