| Well Andy, wonder no more. Here's you answer: (Spoiler Alert) though I don't consider it to be! It's so cool ![]() Late last week, there was a two-day-long shoot at a Spanish Mission Revival-style duplex in L.A.'s Miracle Mile area—mostly night shots, I believe—and if I had to bet money, I'd say it was serving as Paul's (Tahmoh Penikett) apartment, where Echo and Paul have their meet-cute/meet-complicated and their very first fight scene. | Junior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ^ This would indicate to me that the first episode is pretty close to completed, if not already done. Yay! ![]() (Boy, some of those cast names are still tongue-twisters....it's gonna take me awhile to wrap my brain around them )Last edited by Tru Faith In Eliza : 05-03-2008 at 07:43 AM. |

| Yes, so is the stunt guy Mike Massa who was a regular on Angel. And there's production designer Stewart Blatt a regular on Angel and Nurses (Eliza's 2007 Pilot). Shawna Trpcic the costume designer worked on Angel and Firefly. Kristen Branan worked on Buffy, Angel, Serenity, Prison Break, Ghost Whisperer and tons of other great shows. And camera men worked on Angel. We can clearly see that the show is in good and talented hands. I forgot to mention that production on 1st ep is supposed to end on 9th of May. And Tash, I agree. I fell in love with Eliza thanks to Tru Calling, but Dollhouse is hopefully the touchdown of all the shows so far. Last edited by Sonya : 05-03-2008 at 03:39 PM. |

| Eliza's SO ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Sonya Bring it On was my moment of clarity! I must say I had SMG blinkers on when she was in S3 and S4 in Buffy and was all like go away Faith then I saw BIO and I was like Buffy had better step off and wake up tp herself when it comes to Faith but she never did! |

| Are we going to wait a little longer for Dollhouse? A midseason premiere is probable, but we'll know for sure next week when the network announces the 2008-2009 schedule. Here's why: "As for Dollhouse, it's likely Whedon fans will have to wait a little longer for the Eliza Dushku led series to debut, as a midseason start now seems probable, according to the Reporter. Those who worry such a debut spells instant doom should keep in mind that FOX launched the already-renewed Terminator midseason this year, not to mention that Whedon's own Buffy the Vampire Slayer (on top of many other soon to be successful shows such as The Office) first showed up midseason. Some might also fear not getting a fall launch indicates a lack of faith in the project at FOX, especially given Whedon's bad history at the network with Firefly. One thing to keep in mind though is that part of FOX's decision-making with Dollhouse is no doubt affected by the fact that it's a bit behind other series like Fringe. Fringe had a completed pilot script before the writers' strike and a pilot was produced earlier this year. On the other hand, Whedon had not yet begun writing Dollhouse when the strike began. He had to quickly do so when the strike finished and the pilot for the show is currently in production." http://tv.ign.com/articles/872/87207...0&RSSid=872070 |

| Junior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Article in USA Today: Fewer new shows on slate for fall TV in wake of writers' strike ![]() Networks will unveil next season's lineups in New York next week, but the usual pomp will be subdued. For some, star-studded presentations and glitzy parties will give way to stripped-down events. And this fall, viewers will see fewer new shows and more modestly rated holdovers because the writers' strike has delayed new-show development. The networks are considering about 70 new series for next season, down from 100 or so in past seasons. But the majority of pilot episodes they'll pick from haven't been shot yet, so many will contend for midseason spots. A big trend: dramas that blend weekly procedural cases with expansive character development. And in this strike-hobbled season, networks are expected to lay bets on big-name producers with top track records. Strong fall candidates: •Dollhouse (Fox), from Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Joss Whedon and featuring its co-star, Eliza Dushku, about a team in a high-tech dorm, both specially equipped to handle secret missions. source: http://www.usatoday.com/life/televis...upfronts_N.htm This could be good...Dollhouse could gain viewers simply because it might be one of the few new shows to make it out on time....and there are some indications the Hollywood Reporter story on Dollhouse being a mid-season replacement might not be true and Fox is still working to get it on in the fall. Oh, and by the way - the photo above has a Fox credit on it...could be the opening salvo of publicity for the show... Last edited by Tru Faith In Eliza : 05-08-2008 at 09:30 PM. |

| Eliza's SO ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | So next week we could have some new stuff! If it is the only one on time as well that is cool. I think the pic that came with the article isnt a Dollhouse one though, I think it is early Tru maybe cause her hair isnt that light anymore and she is wearing it differently now |
