The only Buffy...er....Angel alum that i would love to see is Stephanie Romanov playing Adelle.

I don't know any of the people cast to be honest. That's what worries me, I know ELiza can really act, but I would hate it if the show didn't do as well because the supporting cast isn't as good. I think strong ensemble casts are necessary for a successful show. I mean look at Friday Night Lights and Grey's Anatomy. They have AMAZING casts.

Well Battlestar cast rocks, so I am happy about that one and it makes sense cause Joss is big Battlestar fan. Neighbours, really didn't like the character, but that could just be to do with her character on Neighbours and the writing.

Neighbours has always had bad writing...the girl could not act her way out of a wet brown paper bag...I just hope she doesnt have many scenes cause she will wreck the show for sure...stinking set up with all her bad acting

I don't know her or the show enough to judge, but I checked her out on youtube and I think she has one of those faces that doesn't allow her enough facial expressions. But maybe with the right writing and direction from Joss she did, and will do a good job, you never know!
Joss has hired people with not so great talent before and they shined on Buffy, this could be the same, I hope. Anyway Eliza's the star and her co-star Tahmoh is great, that's wonderful. I hope they all have good chemistry between them cause that's important.

They are kick arse but they could also act...I go back and watch their earlier work (Sarah and Eliza) and you can see they can act. Dichen is crap...flat out crap...she must have gotten her job via the casting couch on a day when Eliza and Joss werent around

^ it always seems silly to me to bash people when here we are sitting on computers.....and theyre laughing all the way to the bank.

To be honest though, I think more than raw talent, Joss has a way of playing up acotrs strengths so that there are times when they seem better than they are, and then they really hit their stride and loosen up....for instance, David Boreanaz was nothing to write home about in Buffy season 1, and then poof headlining 2 shows back to back.
