If you looked at the tagline of the pictures on WireImage, there was a Nobel Son party at Sundance, and Eliza was the hostess. This obviously means that, since the cast & crew was there for Bottle Shock, they hosted a party to celebrate the distribution deal. A poster on IMDB also said that there was a delay on the production of The Alphabet Killer, but now the movie is on its way. Searching through that user's profile, I found that it is a reliable person, that probably worked on the movie. On Broadway disappeared from the face of the Earth - a few months ago it was getting awards everywhere and playing in tons of independent festivals - but now it's over and they haven't updated the MySpace of the movie for a while. We also heard a few weeks ago that they were planning a 1,000 + theatrical release for Nobel Son. The Thacker Case has finished filming and, well, I guess we'll never see Open Graves. The strike is also almost over (hopefully, with negotiations going well) so Dollhouse should start to build up momentum and buzz any moment now. I am opening this thread just so we can stop and really think at where we stand with these new Eliza projects, 'cause I am starting to see a pattern. I think they're all going to collide and be released within the same time frame - say, all in three or four months, April to August. Reasons why: We'll get an announcement any second now about both Nobel Son and The Alphabet Killer. I also believe that On Broadway might have disappeared because they're negotiating distributions deals (producers said they were hoping for a March theatrical release and, well, that's obviously not going to happen). We should keep our eyes open, Eliza fans. She's back in the spotlight after those multiple Sundance appearances - it's all about to explode, I guess. | I hope you're right about the strike being almost over, because I can't wait much longer for Dollhouse, although I live in a land far far away and the chances of me seeing Dollhouse this year are very slim! But I do hope to see bits and pieces on the internet somehow ![]() I don't understand how The Thaker Case was finished so soon though we have seen Eliza all over the place recently except in Iowa or Ohio wherever the film is being shot! And just a thought: Do you think The Alphabet Killer was delayed because of the reopening of the real case and the new findings? Or because Eliza is co-producing? haha |

I'm probably going to be seen as negative but I'm not going to expect an influx of movies in the next few months and if I'm wrong, I'll see it as a pleasant surprise. |
