ME picket day and post stike picnic

This is kinda a late post but is anyone getting down there? ED will be there along with others and I'm kinda jealous cause I would love to go support television writers first hand on the pickets and sing some union song

but I've been content with sending pencils and food money since I'm in australia.

Yeah I read that last week but the news on The Thacker film is more recent and filming began in LA and Iowa. If she is in LA I am sure she will make it

Seriously, it is good to see her supporting the writers strike. Strikes are not easy to endure, I've been in them in my industry and we were out two and a half months the last time.

The AMPTP

has been scr*wing the writers on payments of their work on newer media outlets, and the WGA members deserve a greater share of the gazillion bucks the studios are getting.

Suggestion: Let Faith and River do the kick-@ss negotiating!

Nice pics, good to see she's supporting the strike. If the brown on her jumper was red, she could be a latter day Minnie the Minx. Simon will know what I'm babbeling on about. But as great as it is to see the support for the strike, the longer this goes on, the more it'll affect us as viewers. I've written off the rest of this year for TV, but what happens if this carries on into March?
