Nice find, Simon. Saved me digging through all my "Tru Calling" pics, I knew there was one of her in a nurses uniform.

I know, I know, the doctor/hospital schtick has been done to death, but I'd stlll like to see Eliza on a good dramatic/comedic series.

She could sit there reading out of the phone book each week and I'd most likely watch it. The key is the time slot. They killed her last show by putting it up against some really good stuff.

I usually hate FOX shows, though the last season of the O.C kicked ass. I hope they give more respect to this show than they did for Tru Calling. As long as there's good writing and great storylines, it should hopefully do well.

Actually I'm growing to like that idea - imagine the anticipation of waiting for her to get to your name!!!

It will be great to see Eliza on tv again. It's a shame it's with Fox though. I hope it's similar to Grey's Anatomy, i love that show.

Oh was just thinking, it will be interesting to see Eliza do a tv show thats not supernatural. I'd say she suit the role really well.

Eliza Dushku has been tapped to star in Fox’s one-hour pilot "Nurses," Nikki Cox is set to star in CBS’ comedy pilot "Fugly," and Amber Valletta will star in CBS’ drama pilot "Twilight."

Additionally, Joshua Malina and Nia Long have landed lead roles on ABC’s untitled Jon Feldman drama pilot, Autumn Reeser and David Walton have joined CW’s untitled Tom Wheeler pilot, and Beverly D’Angelo has been added to CBS’ drama pilot "Skip Tracer."

"Nurses," from 20th TV, is a comedic drama about the lives and loves of a team of nurses. Dushku will play the lead, a young woman just out of nursing school who joins the hospital run by her father. Dushku replaces Katheryn Winnick, who originally was cast in the role; the part was recast after the character was taken in a different, more comedic direction. Also cast in the pilot is Jaclyn DeSantis (Paradigm), who will play an experienced nurse going through a bitter divorce.

The project reunites Dushku with Fox and 20th TV following her starring role on "Tru Calling." The "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" alumna will next be seen in the feature "Nobel Son." She is repped by the Gersh Agency.

i'm hoping this gets picked up. eliza as a nurse is nice.

They have done the teen thing, the cop thing, the doctor thing...I guess now it is the nurses turn.....

They better give her good scripts a good cast and a decent chance, not like last time. Last time it was like they wanted to just piss money away and not bother.

i would imagine its soon, im not exactly sure when they film the pilots,isnt it normally march/april time? then if it get picked up by the networks,then the rest of the season should resume filming shortly afterwards.???

Is that how it works,im not sure ?

I got hold of some of the casting sides through a work contact for eliza.dushku.info... the one I'm posting features some Eve dialogue, and I can totally hear Eliza

Oooh what a score! Thanks for sharing! It isn't lots to go on obviously but it seems it could be fun. I can't help imagining Becca as Lindsey from Tru Calling lol.

I also think it'd come across funnier on screen and in context of a whole episode - but then I read too quick the first time to take note of the different male names lol.

Mixed emotions for me. It's great that she's in a pilot for a new series, and possibly to be on telly regular. But it's F*x who are showing it. I'd like to see it get picked up, but I have a bad feeling that F*x will stick it on at a stupid time.

The fact that the show is on Fox usually mean one of two scenarios:

1- The show really suck but is a huge success
2- The show is really, really good but is mishandled and/or too smart for Fox's audience so it's quickly canceled

I hope for her sake that the show is good even if it doesn't last long but I am skeptical about it. It seems to me that since ER first hit the screen, there hasn't been a year without at least 2 hospital shows and we already have 3 successful ones with Scrubs, Grey's Anatomy and House. And ER has yet to be canceled!

What new angle can they possibly show?
