Her shoes. They are Chuck Taylor All Star Converse.

I thought everyone referred to them as Chuck Taylors!

I had a pair just like it. I will have to call my Mum and see if she still has them!

I wouldn't have know that. We just call the trainers, or by whatever make they are. I'll have to try on a pair and see if they fit. Ooops, going of topic...

ive a pair of converse all stars,not wore them for a while tho, ,mainly because ive lost 1.. but there are comfortable though, not good in the rain, going to need flippers if this rain continues...damm you weather.

I decided to check "wellies" on Wikipedia. Yep, rubber boots is our term. But, I did find this:

"In Britain, there is a light-hearted sport, known as wellie wanging, which involves throwing Wellington boots as far as possible." I'm not sure I needed to know all of that!

I guess the American equivalent of that sport would be cow-chip tossing....in which case, you'd probably want to be wearing wellies upon entering the cow-chip meadow......
