I know I preaching to the choir here, but I can't for the life of me understand why this exquisitely beautiful creature isn't a mega-star yet. She got the acting chops, she's smart, funny and she ain't too bad to look at, either!
I often think it's because maybe Eliza doesn't want to play the Hollywood star game with the papparazi trailing her every move. Most of the people who do that are publicity wh*res and they're not worth much as a person. It seems to me whenever we see Eliza out on the town, she's out to enjoy, and not to promote herself like so many do.
I also think she tries to find roles that appeal to her, that mirror her personality somewhat. I've seen a number of female heroine action films lately, like "Aeonflux" and "The Underworld" I frankly would have loved to see Eliza doing simply because I think she'd be great in, but I also want to see her
do the "Off Broadway" because it expands her acting range. |
