I guess I should have added that I'd be surprised if she did a sex scene. If she did it'd be too much with SMG being a porn star and CR doing Black Snake Moan!

i have got to say this is the greatest news i have heard in a long time. knowing eliza is making a new movie is great news and it's better news knowing that she will be acting alongside one of my favorite actors which is kuno becker. the only thing that disappoints me is macaulay culkin.

You all seem to assume Eliza is the co-lead. She could be but it's not specified anywhere. She could very well play a small part for all we know.

A couple of sites have said she plays the lead, though that wasnt mentioned in the original Variety story, so they could just be reading between the lines.

Interestingly, the latest batch of articles have described the film as "as yet untitled" - maybe S&B is only a working title?

Quite a few of the news items have described Eliza as co-lead with Culkin. I know what you mean though, from the original report Eliza could even have been playing the shrink

I've only seen one news site say the movie is untitled Ben, just a crappy UK one, have you seen more?

I've just realised though that no one has actually posted the Variety article, from Aug 2 yet

Pic is Culkin's first since 2004's "Saved!"; he played a drug-addicted murderer in "Party Monster."

Yes, but it seems to originate from a press release from a site called pr-inside.com. Other sites have just quoted that article - including getting Mila Kunis' name wrong

Ah OK, I know that site. They do take submitted Press Releases but they also write a lot of their own stuff based on articles on other entertainment websites. I think they just nicked that copy from London agency Bang. It's like chinese whispers lol.

I think thats probably also true of the articles that says Culkin is 'stripping off' for the role...
