New Project: Zoe

According to Acorn-online Eliza has apparently been cast in Theo Avgerinos's Zoe, along with James Van Der Beek. The movie is still being cast and will shoot in Montreal.

The story takes place in a small New England town, where two brothers are trying to revive a Greek family restaurant. Both brothers are in love with the same girl, who works in the restaurant.

"I'm Greek," says Avgerinos, "and my father was in the restaurant business for years. Making this movie isn't for my ego — it's for the passion of it. It's sort of My Big Fat Greek Wedding meets Good Will Hunting."

Kevin Frakes is one of the other producers of Zoe.

Wasn't Eliza rumoured to be in a Greek themed film before? Or is it this one? Or am I getting mixed up? Thanks for the info btw

IMDB don't seem to have the project listed at all yet.

If it wasn't for the fact that the director has been quoted talked about the movie and Eliza's involvement I think I'd dismiss it.

Does anyone have the Acorn Online article saved anywhere btw? The source link no longer works and would be good to have the whole article posted.

Imdb is iffy at best, we've had stuff listed for Eliza there that she wasn't even in.

Maybe it's lacking financing and the actual filming part of it has been delayed indefinitely? I don't know, but I agree that it's strange that no other information has been released about this.

Maybe you should unsticky it, just so news can come out about it, haha.
