New Project: Nobel Son

This is what Eliza herself had to say about this new project at Wizard World in Oct 2005

I'm working on a movie called "Nobel Son" about a dysfunctional family. The father, played by Alan Rickman, wins the Nobel Prize. I play City Hall, and insane asylum escapee. Bill Pullman, Danny Devito and Peter Boyle are also in it.

And according to this article Nobel Son will hopefully get a release at the Toronto Film Festival in September.

Apparently the confirmed list of films for Toronto wont be made available until the end of August, but the good news is a friend of mine is going, and *if* Nobel Son is showing has promised to see it and bring me back a press pack

I'd love to find out a bit more about Eliza's role... City Hall is based on Jody Savin, which interests me... anyone have any tidbits?

Yes, lots of information about the film and pics too usually.

I've got ones for 'City by the Sea' and 'Bring it On', they are just quite nice collectibles I think.

No, its a movie.

I forgot to post this the other day. There was an interview with Alan Rickman in The Scotsman newspaper last week and he mentioned Nobel Son.

I think this is the first time I've seen the movie referred to as a a darkly comic tale... interesting. Maybe we'll get an OTT performance from Eliza?

Its been called a Drama/Comedy before, but the word darkly does make it sound a lot more appealing

. Actually, I think NS is the film I''m looking foward to the most...

I can't wait either Si, I missed Eliza in an insane asylum in Dog Sees God so I'm hoping this performance will make up for it!
