I just keep thinking one of those frigin' inbreds are going to jump out in front of my car! |

| Now I've just got to be mindful when I drive outta here on Friday and back in again on Sunday as both trips will be made mid to late afternoon when things are approaching dark. Prime "gettin' lost in the boonies" time. If only I had a Tom-Tom or something more sturdy than the aluminum baseball bat that currently resides in my trunk... |

| Long time since this thread has been replied to, but I just have to say something after reading thru it. I`ve watched Wrong Turn a couple of times, just recently as a matter of fact, and although I don`t love the movie, it`s okay. I may have a tendency to like some movies just because they have the right actors :p But anyway.. What really bugs me with this movie is that there are so little conversation.. And the little that is said, is almost the same everytime... Does the writers of the movie have so little confidence in their actors? IMO the movie would be alot better if we got to know the characters a bit better, and not just know why they all ended up at that road... Don`t you think? Maybe its just me.. I like to "know" the characters. Like it also always bugged me that we never got to _really_ know Faith. Just hints about her past and stuff... I need more :p I always hoped there would be a Faith spin-off, just so I could get to know her more (and to see more Eliza).. That`ll never happen :( A little off topic here, sorry `bout that, just couldnt help myself ;) What do you think? |

(Great sig by the way). But getting to know characters in horror films is rare in U.S. films. As it's more onto the blood and gore, but with a low budget films such as Wrong Tur, it would have been nice to have some background to the characters. I guess the counter argument is pacing. As the film is supposed to be a tense one, it may distract the viewer if we're getting to know them. |
