The episode was cute, but I didn't like it as much as the last two weeks. Not enough funny/quirky moments that you would kind of come to expect from Doug Petrie. I liked the theme of 'things change', it made the final scene more powerful.

Next week looks great, the day repeats more than once...very cool.

Dude who played Candice? She's hot... and looks familiar

Anyway, the episode was really good. I cried at the end.

I really liked this episode. My friend and I were guessing who the murderer was. We practically suspected every character, we even thought about the teacher, but didn't suspect him much. Thought it was that talkative girl, but it was too obvious shes not it since the episode wasn't almost over! Great episode!

Candace was played by Jodi Lyn O'Keefe. She excels at playing a ***** most of the time, if you couldn't tell. She was in the movie "Whatever it Takes" as well as a few others you might know. "Teacher's Pet: Devil in the Flesh 2"

On a more important note, Eliza looked hot as hell last night.

Hi there!

As it was mentioned before, this ep wasn't as good as the last two, and I certainly agree. It just semed too familiar. It was a ep where the story would unfold in typical Tru Calling way, like in the first few ones. In the last few eps, they showed great skills in twising the main plot around so you'd be surprised at what happens next. (Think the idea of Tru ditching a bullet because the day rewinds right before she gets hit.) Not here. I for one asked myself: "Why isn't she just standing by the pool waiting for Candace to show up, instead of standing around in the main hall guessing who might be the culprit?" And by the way, did you guys notice the BIGGEST glitch in continuity so far? When Tru goes to the reuinon the first day, she wears a black skirt. But when she junps into the water to get to the body of Candace, she is already wearing the pants and top from day two... they used the same shot again for the rescuing scene (well actually THAT was the original shot, they jsut thought they could use it twice....NOT!) I don't have a problem with slight continuity errors, since production on TV shows is always very rushed, but this one was just too obvious. It just jumped to me the moment I saw it..

But let's get to the positive things. The killer was hidden very well among a line of credible suspects ( a real improvement to last weeks show), and the closer it got to the finish, the suspense level rose periodically. A good end to a otherwise a bit mediocre ep.

And yes: Eliza looked very hot in this ep, altough the director could have used a few more full body shots... unless in the end, where we got a nice treat of our heroine's killer legs in this sporty outfit...

All in all a good ep, but not nearly as good as the season's best so far...

Next week's rerun, The Longest Day will be aired on Feb. 5.

And on a closing note, Jodi Lyn O'Keefe was actually best known for playing Don Johnson's daughter Cassidy in "Nash Bridges".

Review time then...

Let me start with the opening flashback - Oh my, very impressive. Eliza delivering some perfect acting, and she even look'd younger than she did in BIO. I hope we get more flashbacks like that. A small thing I noticed was that I really like the scene in the coffee place where the 4 of them hung out (Tru, Luc, Lindsay and Harry). I like how things progress in the show even though we don't see it (Harry and Linds a couple again), it gives the impression that Tru is living a normal life, apart from her calling - and thats when we, the viewers, come it. I like the setting at the high-school, the pre-reunion jitters, the whole mood of the ep. I also liked that for once there were several suspects (altho' I was sure it was the teacher before the re-do). And Im really starting to dig Harry, like Ive said earlier, he delivers every time, and Luc is growing on me too - great to see the two of them together. The guest star (Candace) did a good job - since I really didn't like her, and that was the point. And my god how annoying that rumour-chick was.
All in all, my 3rd fave ep, after "Closure" and "MitM".

the best part of this episode was the high school flashback. That was surprising but the episode still ran it's course of repetitive storytelling in true TRU CALLING fashion.

Jodi Lyn O'Keefe also played the ***** in she's all that!!

And I loved that episode! I love Tru Calling more and more each episode! I hope the show doesn't get cancelled. It would be cool to have it back for a second season and does anybody knows if it's going to have a complete first season??

I think the episodes have been improving in trying to pull away from that standard formula. Especially "Closure". Recently, I think Tru Calling has been getting better at actually developing subplots and storylines outside of the original murder case. Or at least subplots stemming from the murder that Tru needs to solve.

And yeah, I'd love a Tru Calling Season One DVD. Especially if this is the only season, something to remember the show by.

I kind of feel sorry for O'Keefe since she always plays the ***** I would like to see her as something other than a *****. But anyway I love this episode and I also cried at the end and my friend is all why did you cry? That was just stupid there wasn't even a reason to cry and I was all it was just sad! Oh and I totally noticeed the first time when she jumped in the pool I totally noticed and I even said something about it to everyone who watched it and my mom is all I didn't notice that part maybe I should watch it again and I was all please!!! I noticed it!! Well anyway overall I thought it was a great episode really very lovely!! I will probably never say anything bad about this show ever so if you ant any sort of criticism from me you'll never get it. Oh yeah and I also noticed Merdith is in Rehab that is good!
They can try and pull away but their premise is SO formulaic it will slowly pull them back in I think they've been trying to do that on Smallville with no avail. It kind of serves them right for not taking the time to really come up with a really interesting premise.
