| 5.5 million? I'd be happy if it got that rating. That means it went UP. Its true what people are saying...if it falls 10 percent from the 4.88 million it had this week, it might be facing cancellation soon. :( I'm hoping it goes up or at least maintains the 4.88. Everybody tune in tonight! |

| Yeah, but I think getting an 8-9 million in tonight's ep is a little unrealistic. Maybe it will gain gradually, who knows. If FOX had ANY brains they would realize that they need to be patient with a show in that timeslot...but I don't expect them to be. ABC renewed 'Threat Matrix' after it doing only ok in the ratings...they're looking ahead to next year when Friends is over. FOX should do the same thing. |

| Junior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Post Tru Calling Chat Following Tru Calling this evening, it would be great if everyone would visit the Official Tru Calling message board: http://forums.prospero.com/foxtrucalling/start and discuss the show. Use it as a chat room. Fox uses the traffic generated on their message boards as a gauge of the show's popularity and fan interest in the show. The Firefly fans effectively used this to create a huge spike in the traffic following the Firefly pilot finally airing last December. Nathan Fillion even mentioned how much more interest in the show as generated by the Firefly pilot, based on this message board traffic stats (even though it was mainly Firefly fans posting 100s of nonsensical messages.) So it would be great if as many people as possible could post at least 10 messages. Discuss anything you want, but it would be nice to see some discussion of Tru Calling on that forum (but discussing Fuffy is always fun) not just nonsense. Anything that shows the fan interest in the show, and the interest in Eliza and the other movies and tv shows she's done is great. http://forums.prospero.com/foxtrucalling/start |

| I'm at the forum now Faith_Fan. I agree that everyone should post there, it could do some good. Just saw the second episode....and I DEFINATELY picked up on some 'deep' aspects of the show. I heard early reviews saying how the show didn't have any emotional value and how Tru wasn't deep at all. I don't agree. The ending was very sad. Tru: "I can't help you unless you ask me, Nick. So please ask me...please." Eliza was so great in that scene. I was impressed. I'm kind of glad they killed off Nick...I feel bad for Tru, but I think it could do a lot for the show and for Tru's character. It may also make her more wary of opening up to people... Its strange because I like Tru and I was happy for her when she got with Nick, but I was also hoping it wouldn't last. Tru does need someone to help her through this, but I don't think she needs someone yet. I think she needs to learn how to handle the whole thing better for herself first. I'm not being biased because I'm an Eliza fan...I really did enjoy the episode, more than the first one. I really think a lot of teens could get into this show, if only they weren't all watching Friends. |

| Junior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Lovin' the episode. Eliza looks so cute. (I'm not usually the one to say that sort of thing, but she does.) And Harrison is equally as cute. Shawn is doing such a great job. I can so buy Tru and Harrison as siblings. And I loved the opening scene with Lindsay in the morgue. Only negative, I can't stand the new Gardez (the Hispanic morgue attendant). The actor who played him in the pilot was so much better. Why in the world did they recast him? |

| I loved this episode. It was way better than the first one! Very sad ending for Tru indeed. And Foo, good news! Here's your torrent link! | Tonights ep was the 1st ep I watched because I forgot to tune in last week. I dunno, the show was good... but I kind of don't get it. I mean... okay, so you see a dead person, you go back in time and save them... uhhh doesn't make much sense... so if you save them, and they live... and you go back to the present... what happens to the dead body? Then in the next episode you do it all over again? Seems kind of repetitive to me... Lmao could someone please save me and explain what the hell it's all about? I feel so lost. Anyway, Eliza is doing a good job as Tru. Hopefully it won't be cancelled. |
