How (if it's even humanly possible) can you take a file from let's say your floppy disc and post it? I would ask my bro, but, we're not on speaking terms and I'm horrible with this techical stuff.

hmm try again in the daytime tomorow. But yeah you need an account with them. Then once you'v done that, you need to go to "select your files" then browse, then a drive, and whatever file it is you want. Then click on upload, the picture will appear below a box containing the URL. Copy and paste the entire URL into your fanhost message and that should post your pic.

You'll have to wait... hopefully not past tomorrow!

first, go to www.photobucket.com or to imageshack.us (or any site that lets you link to the pics) and set up a free account.
after you upload the pic to whatever site you choose, get the url for the pic and then come back here and start your thread. then click image and then in the small window that opens, paste the url there and it will display the pic in the thread. i added a pic of where you will need to click to add the url to make it easier to understand. dont click the pic i posted. it wont work. lol

ok. for the "computer illiterate", [img]graemlins/spin.gif[/img]
easy step by step instructions.

1. locate picture you want to post.
2. remember, or write down, the location of the pic.
3. go online.
4. go to imageshack.us and sign up.
5. upload image. to do this at imageshack, click browse. on the screen that comes up, find the pic you want to post.
6. after you find the pic you want to post, single click it and then hit ok.
7. after you hit ok on the screen that popped up, it will close. then on the web site page, click where it says "host it!".
8. after it is finished uploading, you will get a list of different options. find the one at the bottom that says "Hotlink a clickable thumbnail on a forum or message board!"
and copy it.
9. come here and start a thread.
10. in the dialog box (where you type what you want to say), paste the code you copied from imageshack and whatever else you feel like saying. make sure you dont type anything inside the code that you copy and pasted.
11. click preview post to make sure your pic will show in your post.
12. if the image you uploaded didnt show, i dont know what to tell you other then you did something wrong, and to try again.

just one other thing. if you know how to e mail a pic to someone, you should have no problems finding the pic you want to post and uploading it to imageshack. instead of adding an attachment like in a e mail, your uploading the pic to a website. thats the only real difference between using e mail and using imageshack. if you still have problems, e mail me the pic (or someone else that has offered to help) and whoever you send it to will post it for you. if you have more then 1 pic, send them all seperately, or put them into a zip file and send that file to whoever you want to help you.
if you still need help with how to post pics, AND you use Yahoo messenger, pm me with your messenger name and i will add you and walk you through it.

btw... if what i said up there works, this is what you will see when you post your pic.....
