| This is extremely bad news! There has got to be something we can do to keep this show from sinking! I'll send the emails, and the letters to fox, no problem, but there has to be something bigger we can do! Bombard their offices with balloons... send flowers? Look at what happened with Roswell when the execs at the wb recieved 12,000 tabasco bottles. Do you think it's a possibility for a network like the WB to pick up Tru? I know with economics coming in to play it may not be a possibility, but it would be a good fit. |

But I'm not surprised that Fox have done this, what with all their faffing (messing) around with Tru to begin with. I'm just angry at the timing of all of it. I wonder how everyone on the show feels about this? I also would like to know if it could be moved to another network. |

| Junior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The problem is that Fox and 20th weren't cooperating with the Save Angel campaign efforts when sent things. I'd love to send more balloons, but it's only to piss them off. Fox refused delivery of the 1000 balloons sent by the Angel Food Drive. Fox also refused delivery of the cakes sent by the Angel Food Drive. The Firefly campaign had loads of problems with Fox going crazy anytime anyone posted on their forum about sending them things (apples and hams were suggested). While I like the idea of just driving Fox nuts, I don't want to throw people's money away. The studios and networks are crazied right now about security. They aren't accepting packages from fans, and aren't going to take delivery of stuff sent. I scoped out Fox's offices for a Save Angel rally, and it's next to impossible to hold one there, especially with the LAPD. The WB rally worked so well since it was in Burbank and the Burbank police cooperated. If we held a Save Tru rally at Fox, it'd be broken up in 2 minutes by the LAPD. Don't want to be the spoiler here, but I also don't want to waste money that isn't going to help TC, especially if we're going to need to fund Variety and Hollywood Reporter ads and billboards. |

| I agree with Faith_Fan in regards to the money issue... if it's not going to be money well spent, we need to focus us something that will work... when is the right time to take action with hollywood trade ads, and billboards.. when fox makes it final they are going to cancel Tru, or do it now and show there is love and support for the show? I'd be willing to pitch in at any point in the game so we can get things started. |

| Junior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I've heard back from several of the TC producers and they just want us to make noise. Email, Write, Call, Fax. It doesn't need to be the expensive stuff now since the ads and billboards take time. We need to make noise right now. The decisions are being made now about additional episodes. But what I'm afraid of is Fox stringing this all along. They film 6 or 13 episodes, then promise to air them and we're left waiting and waiting all year with the show not in production. I don't want people having to spend a lot of money now and having to keep spending even more money later. At the W&H Review (which replaced the Buffy PBP) the Angel producers kept saying over and over to the fans don't waste your money trying to save the show. I was pissed off since it was stalling out the efforts to save the show when maybe it might have helped. But I do understand their concerns. Send postcards and emails now and we might need to keep sending them for months. (I'm still sending the WB and 20th 5-10 Angel postcards a week.) I'm thinking sending flowers might be a good idea this week, but I'm checking into whether or not Fox would refuse delivery. That's something that doesn't take a lot of time and might make a statement if enough people do it. |

| Junior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Any graphics gurus on here interested in doing some TC postcards that people can print and mail in? The suggestion I have is keep the background color light, otherwise you use a whole toner cartridge printing one sheet of cards. Also, can anyone remove the Getty images logo from this picture? http://editorial.gettyimages.com/sou...51164378&cdi=0 I'd just love to use that as a postcard to send to 20th's Dana Walden and Gary Newman. Anyone know of any photos of Eliza and Gail Berman? |

Also, I tried with the Dana and Gary pic and it's a really hard job to edit, specifically with Eliza's top. Maybe you could put Support Tru Calling over the existing text? |
