Tru Calling Season 2 DVD!!!

Reader Steven Serridge emailed us last night with the news that Best Buy had Tru Calling: Season 2 up for preorder, which was listed as an exclusive to the chain of stores. We tried to get more information from Fox, since Best Buy doesn't list much information, but we came up dry.

Here's what we know: the 6 episode set, which contains an unaired episode, will sell for $29.99. It'll be available on August 2nd. Hopefully we can dig up more information next week.

Good news, thanks for that! But its gonna be out in August? Thats way to long for me, thats practically all of summer I have to wait for Tru. :confused: I thought it was going to be released in May? Can anyone confirm why it wont be released in May? or is May just the release for the U.S. and August is for somewhere else? or what? please and thanks [img]smile.gif[/img]

Does "Tru Calling: The Complete Series (8 Discs)"-box include the same thing that the Season 2 DVD has (featurettes)?

I just checked the BBFC website and on April 22nd, they rated a featurette called "Opposing Forces", so it looks like we will be getting one at least. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Play.com are listing the extra featurette as 'The Making Of Tru Calling' and Amazon.co.uk report there are four featurettes (this would be the forth). So reported by BBFC and two online retailers... very good sign. [img]smile.gif[/img]

But it doesn't look like they're doing any extra features with post-cancellation interviews talking about what would have happened in Season 2 and beyond.

I read a review for the DVD today and apparently the "Opposing Forces" featurette is all about Jack. :(

On the bright side, they were promoting the DVD pretty well with half a dozen posters lining the walls of Woolworths. Hopefully they're doing that across the country because it did stand out.

Im quite angry

I lost my bankcard on saturday so had to cancel my card, the card which just happens to be registered with play.com

Play tried going into my account today to retrieve the money for the TC pre ordered box set, obv the bank wouldnt allow it as my card number will have changed.

I NEED my new card to be here by friday or else I won't get it on pre-order

'Opposing Forces' is thankfully not Jackcentric and is about season two as a whole. It has a some cute interaction between Eliza and Zach with him playing a practical joke on her.
