TC - possible 2nd season?

We just posted this on http://www.tru-davies.net/ and if you read the description of TC on Budwisers' site (they recently did a feature on Eliza and the show) they write:

Just picked up for another season, it's also been announced that Tru Calling will be bringing back a ghost of FOX past when Jason-90210-Priestley joins the cast as a forensic attendant..

Now this could all be a misunderstanding, but maybe they know something we don't. Moon mailed them and asked if they had confirmation and we're expecting an answer in 2-3 days...

I think they're misunderstanding Tru getting 7 additional episodes, since JP joined that cast then, not for a 2nd season. It seems far too early for Fox to be deciding whether or not TC is getting picked up, but I could be wrong.

I thought so aswell, but the news of the full season and JP joining are almost a month apart. And they did write 'Just picked up' and the TC feature was posted recently.

I also think someone's messed up here. It does look like to me they're talking about JP's appearence in later ep's.

Though I would like a 2nd series of TC, though I won't hold my breath.

On the official site there was a rumour that it was cancelled, and now this? [img]graemlins/ohwell.gif[/img] And its FOX of all networks...they always decide things last minute. So many shows just disappear because FOX simply decides not to renew them after their cliffhanger season finale. Lets hope TC doesn't fall into that category...although I have a feeling it will.

I read that the info at Tru Fate as well... I sure hope this is the real deal, because I can't take anymore bad news about cancelled shows with Angel and all.
