"HotDog Magazine reports that Eliza Dushku (Faith from "Buffy"/"Angel") is Sam Raimi's favourite choice for the role of Felicia Hardy (aka. The Black Cat)".

Hmmm, this is interesting, I'd love for Eliza to get a high profile part like that, but Spiderman isn't the kind of movie I hoped would give her her breakthrough. Im so sick of comic-book-films. The again, Eliza would rock that character :D The blond hair could be a problem tho, I hope to higher powers that if Eliza gets the part they'll go with her original haircolour.

Sam Raimi is a god!
He has great taste, first he creates xena with the lovely Lucy Lawless, and now he's choosing Eliza... :cool:

I pretty much agree with Foo...I think it would definately break her into movie stardom, and thats great for her. But I have to say that I would like to see it...I finally want to see Eliza in something COMPLETELY mainstream. Tru Calling isn't a breakout hit, Buffy was critically acclaimed but it wasn't exactly mainstream, and most of her movies didn't hit it big. It'd be nice to see her in a blockbuster for once...and to see where it took her.

I think she could handle the role well. I'd like to see it.
