| Senior Member  |  Saturday October 16th 2004 The best day in the world, ever. So I got up at 5am, still pitch black and I resembled the guy in the cornflakes advert (ape man) but with less hair. Anyway, got to the station at 6:30, met Dan and got on the train. Flash forward to 2 hrs 45 mins later and we’re running down Euston Station trying to get to Excel House – THE most awkward place to get to in the universe on the tubes/light railway! 30mins later and we arrive to find the largest queue in the history of mankind. Cue me moaning for 10 mins about paying the extra money to get in early but it being pointless grumble grumble, and the queue starts to move, surprisingly quickly. Another 5 mins and we’re in. I ran to the corner where the biggest crowd was, figuring that’s where Eliza would be, and there she was, in all her glory, WITH (heart attack moment for Angi) Nate! – Pic So I grabbed a ticket, number 99, much better than last Aprils ‘number 312, please wait for 7 hrs!’ And then snapped some shots, whilst sending Dan to the back of the place to see if Eliza was doing a photo shoot and to get me a ticket if she was. SNAPS (1st one she’s looking at my camera!)– Pic Pic Pic Then I spot little Shawn, hiding under his hat (lil bit blurry, I was shaking lol) – Pic Dan returns with – yep, a photo shoot ticket for Eliza, No 70 out of 100, just in time! So I put it safe in my pocketses when (shaking again)– Pic Bye bye Nate! He disappeared and when I turned around, he was standing in the middle of the floor talking to a woman that worked there, no one knew who he was! I was saying “It’s Nate! It’s Nate!” and people just gave me strange looks. So I nervously approached him, Me: Ummm, hi. Nate: Hey! What’s up? Me: I was just wondering if you’d mind having a picture with me Nate: (incredulously) Me?! Me: Yes! You hahaha. Nate: Wow! Alright! What’s your name? Me: I’m Charlie (shakes hands) Nate: I’m Nate Me: Yup. Dan: (holding camera for ages) Come on! Nate: Whoops, (sideways glance) Pic Nate: Aww, why are you shaking? Me: Because Eliza is right there hahaha. Nate: Take some deep breaths haha Me: I’m gonna need to take something, deep breath’s will have to do I suppose. Nate: Hahahahaha. Me: Thank you so much. Can I have a kiss? Nate: Definatley! (kisses on cheek!) Me: Thanks! Bye! Nate: My pleasure Charlie, see you around! Me: Byeee!! So with tickets safe in hand for Eliza, we wandered around for a bit looking at the cool cars and who else was there. I decided I would pick up a ticket foe Amber too, but it was number 222, so I knew I had a bit of a wait. Took a few snaps of Amber in her cool hat – Pic Pic And walked around a bit more. Bought an ace TC photoshopped long piece of card with awesome pics of both Eliza and Shawn on. Then they called for 50-100 for Eliza and Shawn, meeee!!! We ran over there and joined the queue, got my label with my name on and paid 15 quid for 1 thing for Shawn to sign and 40 quid for 2 things for Eliza to sign. Went up to Shawn’s table, Shawn: Heeeey! Me: Hi! Shawn: Ooo, what you got there? (about the photoshopped cardboard thingy) Me: The thing I want you to scribble on. Shawn: Did you make this? Me: HAHA, no – I bought it, I’m not that good. Shawn: Charlie hey? Cool name! Me: Thanks. Shawn: Jesus, I look awful in this pic, it’s almost as bad as the last guys (PA agrees with him) Me: Don’t be silly, you couldn’t look bad if you tried. Shawn: I like you! (signs the top of the board “To the lovely Charlie” - see pic.) Pic Shawn: (Gets weird look in his eye and smiles at me – starts scribbling something at the bottom, it says, ‘Chuck you Farley’) Pic Me: What are you writing? Shawn: It’s from a film (That I have forgotten the name of, Friday something he said) Shawn: Do you get it? Me: Umm.. Shawn: You know! It’s **** you Charlie, but with the letters swapped! Do you get it? Do you get it? Me: Oh! Cheers, thanks a lot for that! Hahahaha. Shawn: Hahaha, it’s funny!!! Pic Pic Pic Me: Hahaha, yeah, alright! Can I have a picture? Shawn: Sure, sure! (stands up and puts arm around me) PIC IS BLURRY – BUT THERE’S MORE TO THE STORY LATER ON ABOUT THAT. Pic Me: Thankyou! Shawn: See ya later. I follow the line around to Eliza and manage to take 2 shots before being told off, one pretty good one that I bet no one else got! Pic smile and wink ;) Pic Then, when I was 2nd in the queue, she went to the loo for 2/3 mins, then it was my turn! Me: Hey!! Eliza: What’s up? How are you? Me: I’m feeling a bit ill actually Eliza: Aww no way! Me: I’ll be fine, no worries. Eliza: Good! (I place pics down on the table to be signed, the thing Shawn signed 1st.) Eliza: Who’s written that? Hahahaha. Me: Shawn Eliza: (Rolls eyes) Me: He thought it was hilarious. Eliza: I’m not surprised. What do you want me to put? Me: Umm, I don’t mind, whatever you want to. (she signs it) Pic (I pass her the other picture) Eliza: Ooo, is that my dog? Me: No, I think it’s from the same shoot, but I didn’t have one with Max in it. Eliza: I like this one! Me: Yeah, me too. One of my faves. Pic Me: I got you some stuff, just a letter and a drawing I did, (pull out drawing) My drawing Eliza: Oh my God! You drew that? Me: Yeah Eliza: Wow, it’s amazing! It’s like a photograph. Me: Nope, I drew it. Eliza: Wow, and can I keep this? Pic Me: Yeah! It’s for you. Eliza: Thank you so much!! Me: No problem! Eliza: And a letter too? Thank you! Me: (gushes) Eliza: (reaches out hand and I take it) Me: (points to Dan) can I have a picture taken? Pic Eliza: Of course!! Once again, Dan screws the pic up and it’s blurry! It would have been an awesome pic too! But it’s still good to have, you can make us out. CAN ANYONE HELP TO FIX IT?? Pic Me: Thank you! Eliza: No problem! (Hugs me and yes, she kisses me on the cheek!!) So I start to walk off and… Eliza: Don’t forget your stuff! Me: Oh! Eliza: (Laughs) Me: Haha. You shouldn’t have kissed me! Eliza: Want me to take it back? ;) Me: Haha, no, you’re alright! Eliza: Bye! Me: Seeya. Then I gracefully proceed to walk into the rope around the area and have large portions of the crowd laugh at me whilst I try to find my way out, looking completely bewildered, and I turn to look – Eliza is watching and laughing too. So I just shrugged with a smile and managed to escape the labyrinth of rope and run to Dan. Dan: Smooth Me: I know. We walk around for a bit and then Dan wants some food. We go out and on the way see Nate, he smiles at me, waves and winks. I am super cool and casually wave back with a little smile – made up for the rope incident. We go back in after food and go to the loo, as we are going in, a guy in a hat comes out – it’s Shawn. I pat him on his shoulder, he turns and looks. Shawn: Alright Farley? Me: Yup. (smile) Then there is an announcement that Amber is doing a q and a session. I have recorded some of it, including a part where she sings a bit of “I’m Under Your Spell” and I’ll send it to anyone who wants it, or if I work out how to put it on FH I will, only digital camera recording though, so not the best quality, but good enough. She was very funny and couldn’t tell her left from her right. Guy: Would you ever do the Rocky Horror again? Amber: Of course! (sings) It’s just a jump to the left (jumps to the right….thinks about it…slides back over and does it again but actually jumps to the left) Amber: I seem to be dyslexic and can’t tell my left from my right! (bursts into laughter as do the crowd) And she’s answering q’s for a good 20 mins. Pic Pic Pic We wander around a bit more, looking at the ace things, and buying a signed Meatloaf pic for Dan’s mum’s birthday. Then they announce Eliza’s doing her photo shoots early, many cheers ensue. After a whole lot of kerfuffle with the queue and the women in charge of the queue, I manage to get myself in a position where I am considered to be in the queue. About 10 mins later, I am at the front and being pushed towards Eliza. Eliza: It’s the artist! Charlie right? Me: Heelllooo. Eliza grabs me and hugs me, and holds my hand (HAHA, no one else’s – MINE!!!) But the bastard photographer only got the top half!! So you cant see!! Here is the final image – Pic Thats a photo of the photo though, so its actually really clear. Had to wait 2 hrs to get that developed!!!!!! Worth it though! Me: So i guess i'll see you around? ;) Eliza: I guess so ;) Both: Hahahahahahaha Dan’s version of it, some guy walked in front of it, so he got it when we were separating and chatting,still holding my hand though! GOT ANOTHER KISS TOO! Pic Then they called my number for Amber, we joined the queue, and it went down pretty fast. I got to the front, name badge and pic ready. Amber: Hey! Me: Heeeeey! Amber: Cheery today? Me: Haha, just a bit! Amber: That’s awesome! (signs pic) Amber: Are you Charlie? Me: Yup! Amber: Cool name! Me: Haha, Shawn said that! Amber: It must be true then. Pic Me: Can I have a picture? Amber: Sure you can! (stood up and put her arm around me) Pic Me: Thank you! (kiss her on cheek with muah sound) Amber: (kisses me with same sound and laughs) Bye Charlie!! Go to pick up my Eliza photo, then walk to the doors. We noticed before that my pic with Shawn was blurry, and he was on his own with a few members of staff. So I went up to him. Me: Hey Shawn Shawn: Hey Farley Me: Can I have another pic? The last one was blurry Shawn: Of course. Dan takes a pic but it’s blurry again. Shawn: Try again! Takes another pic. Pic Weird and bright Shawn: Go on, again, we want it right! Me: I’m so tired! Shawn: (Hugs me tighter) Man takes the camera off Dan Man: Put the bloody flash on! Dan: Ohhhhh. Pic Dan: Yeah, that’s good! Shawn: (to me) Go check it. I check it Me: Yeah, it’s nice, thanks. Shawn: No problem! You going now? Me: Yeah, we’re knackered. Shawn: Have a safe trip (kisses me on the corner of the mouth coz I accidentally moved my cheek a bit too far around…) Me: You too, have fun tomorrow. Shawn: Haha, I’ll try! Seeya Me: Bye! | i should have my pics up by the end of the week, of course i wont include any of myself...!!! but yeh, i'll include the others!!!lol If anybody can teach me how to put what i recorded from my video camera onto the net, i'd appreciate it. Then i could put eliza's Q and A up, along with other misc footage of her and nate (he's so lovely!!!!) |

| I'd love to show you all my pics but i'm in them n i look really bad co i'll just not! Chosen4eliza, i saw you when you couldnt find your way out of the ropey thingy, was quite funny i must admit. i feel wierd actually posting on this board cos i've been reading everyone's posts for months n never actually posted myself. crazy. |
