I've seen that. Don't remember him in it. Does he play one of Ryan's mates in it?

iv tried really hard, but i cant find any screencaps of him from anti trust, i'll post a couple of pics of him instead, sorry guys!

left to right: Ben, judy, Aaron, Nate, and eliza

i came accross this below its an interview with nate: Something that caught my eye, is that it said he made a guest appearance in tru calling, in 'the morning after' as character 'marty', i'll check it out and see if its him:

edited to add: LMAO it is him!!! he's the guy that goes into her flat and hugs her and goes "hey tru great party, its good to see you again" and she's like "who the hell was that"!

interview:
It's early evening for me and I am on the phone with Nate Dushku and he's telling me about a recent get-together he's had with his family. You see, Nate's a family guy. Not only is Nate a family guy, but he's a spiritual guy too! He used to teach yoga, something I had no idea about!

Read on and learn other surprising details about Nate Dushku, one amazing guy.

Q. What are some recent projects that you have been working on?

A. Nate has been working on a short film, he said that the last three projects he has done have been pretty exciting. He did an episode of Joan of Arcadia, playing Joan’s date. He also had a small role in an independent film based on the zodiac killer. His stint on Joan of Arcadia was a one episode deal, although I know his fans would love to see more of him on the show!

Q. A lot of amazing actors and actresses got their start from the show Undressed on MTV, how has your role on the show spring-boarded your career?

A. Nate says his first year in LA he went on a lot of auditions for shows. He said that Undressed was like practice for him, a confidence builder, because it’s not easy to get work in LA. It was the first time he went through the acting process. Nate said his nerves flew because it was exciting to be on MTV; a channel people watch all their lives. His perspective is you live and learn. Nate said he had nothing other under his belt at that time and had no reason not to want to be on the show. Undressed was a great way to practice and get actor’s names out there.

Q. In the movie My Dinner With Jimi, you played George Harrison. What was it like for you playing one of music’s greatest musicians? Do you have any musical talents you would like the public to know about?

A. The movie was a real educational experience to Nate. The lead singer of the group The Turtles wrote the script for the movie. When actors do research they go to a library and a video store and get anything they can hear or see to perfect the subject’s movements or voice Nate said. Nate got a Hard Days Night and the producers of the movie My Dinner With Jimi gave him voice tapes of Harrison and Nate listened to them over and over. Nate said that George Harrison was a lot like he is; they’re both laid back and cool. Portraying George Harrison wasn’t easy for Nate, he says Harrison had such a cute, young face and was the object of all teen envy. It is not easy for Nate to see himself that way he commented, however, Nate was still able to identify with George Harrison in that way. George Harrison was a very spiritual man and a while back Nate was a yoga teacher. This helped Nate be able to identify with Harrison and with what Harrison was doing. Nate does have some musical talent he told me, he sings and has played the piano since age 4. He also was in his high school band and played around four instruments. Nate also said that he does play a little guitar.

Q. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

A. Nate describes himself as being a person who does a whole lot of different things. He says he doesn’t know if he could classify himself as an actor. He has a theater company that he works on and he likes to hang out with his friends. He spends a lot of time sitting in traffic (who wouldn’t with the traffic the way it is in California)! Nate told me that he read an article that people lose five days of their lives sitting in traffic in LA. Keeping himself physically strong is also something Nate likes to do. He enjoys hiking, going to yoga class, and kickboxing. Not to mention, Nate also likes to have lunch and just talk to friends. Nate is from Boston and he said that there is a certain energy in Boston that’s “go go go!” Whereas in LA, it’s the land of hurry-up and wait. When you want to do an activity, you may not be able to because you never know what will happen.

Q. Are there any actors that you look up to in the entertainment industry?

A. The first name that comes to mind for Nate is Johnny Depp. Nate said what Johnny did in Pirates of the Caribbean was amazing. Johnny made the movie funny and interesting and he made all the right moves. Anthony Hopkins is another actor Nate looks up to, Nate says Hopkins is just amazing. Gary Oldman is another name that comes to Nate’s mind and George Clooney is good at what he does Nate said. Nate says he likes other actors who don’t take the serious route (when it comes to roles).

Q. Who is your biggest source of support?

A. His best friends and family are almost like one family. Nate said “family comes first” to him. He said even when he’s across the country he still knows they are there.

Q. Where there any summer movies that were must-see for you?

A. Pirates of the Caribbean and Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle. Nate said he didn’t see too many films.

Q. Are there any shows that you are addicted to watching?

A. Nate said that he always watches his sister’s (Eliza) shows; he supports his family. He watched Buffy a bit when Eliza was on the show and some when she was not on it. Recently I heard Nate made a small appearance on the show Tru Calling as Marty in the episode “The Morning After.” Nate’s an HBO fan, more specifically a fan of the shows Six Feet Under and Sex and the City-he enjoys shows that take a lot of risks. Other shows include Nip/Tuck, the show doesn’t have so many boundaries Nate said. Nate is also a fan of the show Joan of Arcadia, he says that Amber Tamblyn is a really good actress. Friends, Will and Grace, and Seinfeld he mentioned are hilarious shows. Wonder what he thinks of Tru Calling?

Q. What’s your latest obsession? Are you into any particular book, video game, sport, or activity?

A. Judge Mathis-he makes a habit of turning him on every morning and seeing what goes on in small claims court. He likes Judge Mathis’s attitude and he thinks he is fair. Nate says he thinks people need to be told how it is.

Q. Which project that you participated in had the greatest effect on your career?

A. A short film he did by the name of Wolf Girl is one of the greatest things Nate said he has ever done. The film starred Tim Curry, Grace Jones, Leslie Ann Warren, and Victoria Sanchez, to name a few actors, and was filmed in Romania. The movie is about a traveling side show and a wolf girl. Nate says the message to him is about humanity and that everyone has a freakish quality to them and if you try and deny it you’ll kill yourself. The movie has a tragic ending but it has a great message to it and it was great working with the cast.

Q. What is something you would like your fans to know about you?

A. A few years ago Nate taught yoga, he’s a family guy, a musician, and a writer. He’d love to have his fans be a fly on the wall of his life! Nate says he’s a total human being and he’s all about change, he says life isn’t just one thing.

Q. Is there any television show you’d love to play a part in?

A. Nate would like to see himself on Six Feet Under, 24, or a new show like Karyn Sisco. He likes shows that are real and gritty. He’d like to work with his sister Eliza and he actually has worked with her in the past doing one scene with her on Angel.

Q. What’s the last great cd you bought and what made it so great?

A. Damien Marley’s cd entitled Halfway Tree. Nate said the cd is a great mix and is very versatile. He said it’s cool when an album can take you on a ride.

Q. What is the best advice you’ve been given by another actor?

A. There is always a flipside to every situation, keep doing what you’re doing.

Q. Anything you’d like to say to your fans and supporters?

A. Nate is thankful to people who are supporting him-he thanks them whole heartedly. He hopes people are happy doing what they’re doing and are taking risks. He also wanted to say that it’s important to keep a level head.
