Callendar 2006

i know its a bit early but does anyone know if there will be a Eliza callender out for next year.

As far as i know there wasnt one for this year, as i looked everywhere but could not find one.

I doubt it if there will be a calendar that's just Eliza. I was hoping that they'd do a TC one.

Hope there will be a callender of Tc, but if there wasnt one last year, theres not much chance of one this year. [img]graemlins/sniff.gif[/img]

If you live in the UK you can get a callender of almost everyone except Eliza [img]graemlins/evil.gif[/img] NOT FAIR!!!!

I emailed Cinequest who are producing Buffy, Iyari Limon and Robia La Morte calendars for 2006 and this is their reply:

"Hi Keri

I’m sorry but we have no plans for an Eliza Dushku calendar for 2006 but are considering it for 2007, depending on how well we do with our first Buffy calendar. Thanks so much for the note!

So, I guess we all need to buy their Buffy calendar and visit their website for ask for an Eliza one next time!

Hmmm, do you think thats because IL and RLM are coming to the convention in Blackpool? Seems odd to have a calendar for those two but not for Eliza, who was a much bigger/more popular star on the show *shrug* However i may invest in the Iyari calendar

Cinequest seem to have done merchandising deals with those two Charlie, they have a whole Iyari store on their site, and an audiobook of Robia reading her life story *smirk*

I would imagine rights to images of Eliza would be pretty expensive?

If they were official FOX photos (like the 'Jenny Calendar') of Faith and Tru, then yes, I'd imagine they would be expensive.

They could just use candids/stock photos though, they'd be cheaper...

im sure fox could put out something,they have enough publicity photo's.or do they sub contract that part the buisness?

The TV company I used to work for sold licenses to produce all merchandise. I think Fox have their own licensing group, although I think it's unlikely they would produce merchandise for a show they recently cancelled.

and they have cancelled alot,haha,who does the btvs calenders then?isit cine quest.or do wb do there own merchandising'i find it strange that they wont do one due to sales,how they going to know how sales will go untill they release one? [img]smile.gif[/img]
