Roles for Eliza

I haven't had a chance to watch Jessica in The Sleeping Dictionary yet, as I only received it in the mail yesterday, but I have seen all her other movies, including the incredibly AWFUL 'Paranoid' which I have to say has to be her LOWEST point in acting ::lol::

As for Eliza, I've seen all of her movies and the only one I totally grimace at for some reason is 'Race the Sun'. I dunno why, I can't really put my finger on it, but her in that movie just annoys me.

I know a lot of people think her low point in acting was Soul Survivors, but I can't really fault her acting in it, it was just a totally naff script. I think she did the best with what she was given...same could be said for Wrong Turn ::lol::

Race The Sun was simply cringeworthy.
Worst flim Eliza has done in my opinion along with Soul Survivors.

Hmmm I have always maintained Soul Survivours is one of the worst. But that doe't mean she acted badly it just means the writing was bad.

I heard a rumour on the net once that she tried out for Dark Angel but good old James doesn't like her, I can't remember the rest of the specifics of that rumour, it was ages ago and probably had no validity to it.

:D .. yeah Faith always a problem.. What's there to do when she perfects the role and gives life to a character? Anyways, Ive seen most of her shows and even when the scripts suck, Eliza still never fails to amaze me.. and that's when im not biased!

Alba's not my type.. so *awkward silence*
But I dont really see Eliza taking on the role... its been done before and stuff. Nah.. just play black cat.. bring on that catsuit [img]graemlins/yummy.gif[/img]

I'm glad someone agrees! I was beginning to think maybe it was just me and my warped head that thought Race the Sun was awful ::lol::

Last night I watched The Zeppo for the first time in years and I have to say that in her scenes with Nick Brendan, Eliza was just so perfectly Faith.

Everything you ever thought of Faith came to life in those few scenes, and Eliza played it wonderfully. I definitely think that although she wasn't in the episode a great deal, she totally stole the show when she was.

No need for the awkward silence ::lol:: If we all liked the exact same thing it would be a pretty boring world. I'm sure there are other girlies out there you like, that I would find most unappealing ::lol::

It's probably something to do with when she worked with him on True Lies. But I get the feeling he doesn't like many actors anyway - just ask Linda Hamilton ;)

i doubt il get anyone to agree here, but i reckon eliza would look good in a bollywood flick - ive seen a few via my asian friends, and they r so funny, loud, sexy and colourful!

on a side note... ali larter is gonna be a bollywood flick as a struggling actress who tries her hand at a Bollywood film and falls in love with her choreographer or something like that - the film is called Marigold - i reckon eliza wudve been a better choice.

yeah story sounds really terrible if i have got it right! i dont know if ali speaks hindi - and i checked out this salman dude - the pics i saw of him look like covers for gay magazines!! [img]graemlins/eek.gif[/img] hehe!!!

I would love to see Eliza star in a big budget movie where she plays a wild cavewoman, a cowgirl (with a southerner accent), or nefertiti (the Pharaoh)

I am glad she gets to experience a lot of different roles and characters in Dollhouse however.

I'd like to see her in something unexplained or spiritual in nature, because that's what I like to watch. But I like the thought of her playing a greek goddess too that's a good idea.
