Anyone else move on?

I have moved on from Eliza.

She doesnt even do anything anymore.

She was my favorite actress but it sucks waiting for her to do something.

I have moved on to other women now.

#1 would be Eva Mendez :D

I still love Eliza but I dunno,

Nice to know you can be so fickle with your "love" for Eliza.

Even if Eliza were to announce that she's quitting acting tomorrow, I'll still love her. There's nobody else who exudes the quality Eliza does that attracts me to her. There's just something about her that can't be duplicated and it doesn't even matter to me if she's starring in a blockbuster or a direct to video or nothing at all. She's still the same person.

It'd be nice if she had a project that she was involved in, but not so I can sit there and drool over her in another movie or TV show, but because I want her to be successful for herself and whatever that entails. There's more to Eliza than just the characters she plays.

I would rather Eliza wait years for the perfect role for her than have her in crappy roles all the time. Bad exposure won't get her any respect. I love |Eliza and i will always be a fan no matter how long her breaks in between roles are.

I don't think I COULD ever move on from Eliza. Cliche as it sounds, she is such an inspiration to me and an amazing person. She's humble, yet a smart ass when she needs to be. From the time I hung out with her at a meet and greet with DJ Qualls when she was doing promos for The New Guy and I knew from then on I would always Dushku-fied. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I'm a fan of Clint Eastwood's Westerns.

The last one was “Unforgiven” in '92.

I'm still a fan of Eastwood's Westerns.

The reason? The work he's done is still good.

Just because he isn't churning out a ton of them of late doesn't affect me in the least. I like what he's done and am a fan of those films as a result.

If it came down to a choice of Eastwood making a slew of crappy Westerns this year, or holding out until a great script came along, I'd prefer if he held out.

The reason? I don't like watching crap.

I'm also a fan of Dushku's. The same applies. I liked what she's done, and still enjoy those works. As a result I'm still a fan.

I'd prefer she held out for a decent role than just do the first crappy script that came her way. After all, as said, I don't like watching crap.

The idea of "moving on" is stupid. Why would I move on? Was I supposed to have moved on from being an Eastwood fan? Can I not like his work and Dushku's as well? The entire idea just doesn't make sense. Are people only allowed to be fans of so many actors? Once you get to the limit you have to renounce one to be the fan of another?

Either you like what she’s done and are a fan of her work or you don't and you aren’t. Unless you’ve suddenly grown to dislike what she’s done the idea of “moving on” shouldn’t apply.

This entire thread is asinine.

[/quote]Being that I was named after him I had to reply to this one. His latest was actually Million Dollar Baby w/Hillary Swank which did take in some Academy Awards if memory serves. It came out in 2005, I believe. While I agree his resume is longer than Eliza's, she has LOTS of time to gather her own. If you want to watch other movies, that's cool as I don't think any of us watch her DVD's over and over w/nothing else on our plate. We still love keeping up w/her more than anyone else, though.

It's okay, not seeing her for a while can cause that momentary lapse of rational thought. We just needed to "re-educate" him on how great she is and why we like her in the first place.
