It's no problem. For anyone who gets Sky, the new little film magazine that now comes with it has a short interview with Christina. I'll type it up for you as soon as I can, the pic with it is a similar one from the Player/Mean mag shoot. She's sitting on the cabinet, but with her legs hanging over the side facing the camera. But she's not looking at the camera.

Thanks Bill, I didn't want to make a big fuss about my return. Glad to see the thread has done well in my abscence.

A bit of News for UK fans. Christina's in the latest issue of Esquire. It's got Clooney on the front, but it looks like a new interview (compared to the US version) and new pics too! I hope I can find a scan of them as they're pretty good.

Some news, news today:

Quote:
Ricci not ready for matrimony yet
From our ANI Correspondent

Washington, May 9: Even though her family wants her to settle down with beau Adam Goldberg, actress Christina isn't ready as yet to say 'I Do'.

Ricci has been dating Goldberg since 2003. Though the couple separated briefly in 2006, they got together after only a few months apart.

Now, the two are under-pressure from their respective families to tie the knot.

"Although I feel like if we didn't have a wedding, my family would be mad at me and Adam's family would be mad at him," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.

However, Ricci insists that she isn't ready for matrimony as yet.

"I think about that (marriage) a lot. Sometimes it sounds really good, but then I'm not sure I'd want to go through with a wedding. I'm definitely more at a time in my life where I want to settle down," she added.

The actress will soon be seen on the big screen in 'Black Snake Moan'.

Christina Ricci Isn't Ready To Have Her Own "Addams Family" Just Yet

May 11, 2007 5:53 a.m. EST

Sally Grover - AHN Staff Writer

Los Angeles, CA (AHN) - Christina Ricci has grown up on screen but she has reached the age where she wants to settle down in her real life.

The 27-year-old actress, who rose to fame as a child in films such as "Addams Family Values" and "Casper, "is considering marrying her boyfriend Adam Goldberg.

She told U.K. Tatler magazine, "I'm definitely more at a time in my life where I want to settle down... Sometimes it sounds really good, but then I'm not actually sure I'd want to go through with the wedding. Although I feel like if we didn't have a wedding, my family would be mad at me, and Adam's family would be mad at him."

However, the brunette star can see the positives of becoming a "Mrs." She continued, "I don't want to deal with it because you know you're going to get in trouble. I just want to be married, or just engaged. Basically, I just want a ring. And the tax break."

Christina recently appeared much thinner and sans her famous curves at the Met in New York. However, rather than buckling to the Hollywood trend of a size zero, the actress lost weight for a role.

She said, "When I did 'Ice Storm' and 'The Opposite of Sex,' I was fifteen and sixteen. Realistically women do change a lot so I just lost my baby fat. As I have gotten older, I am starting to look more like my mother. But in this film ["Black Snake Moan"], she is someone that doesn't take care of herself and I wanted her to look like that. I wanted her to look unhealthy."

Christina stars with Justin Timberlake in the upcoming feature.

Love the tax quote. But I wouldn't mind if she got married. I mean realistically I've got a better chance at winning the lottery than marrying Christina. Plus she's been with Adam for roughly 4 years, so she's in a long term and stable relationship. And he seems to be the right guy for her. So good luck to them if they decide to take that step.

What gets me is when stars have babies together, but they're not ready to get married...huh. (not refering to these two) Since Andrew has given up, get married you two!

I love Keira too! Plus I'm in charge of everything Keira here at FH, so I figure I should represent, thinking about getting a sig as well.

A Christina one? I have his great interview from the Telegraph website. Thanks to Frank for this one:

Quote:
The vamp is a lady

An aura of calm sophistication now surrounds Christina Ricci, the one-time poster girl for adolescent misfits whose on-screen troubles were nothing compared with her real-life distress. Interview by Murphy Williams

It is a curious case of co-dependency: if it hadn't been for Hollywood's film industry, Christina Ricci, 27-year-old veteran of 39 movies, would have been, she claims, 'one of those weird runaways on Hollywood Boulevard'. Instead her delicate, fascinating features have been adorning its billboards since she was nine, when her performances as Cher's daughter in Mermaids and then as the fantastically morbid, Edward Gorey-esque Wednesday in the Addams Family films set her off on a brilliant career that peaked in 1998 when she played a succession of alienated Lolitas in The Ice Storm, Buffalo 66 and The Opposite of Sex. The Face magazine celebrated this insolent new poster girl for independent films as 'The Most Evil Woman in Hollywood'. John Waters, who directed her in Pecker, predicted the female Johnny Depp would be 'the big, big star of a lot of strange movies'.

Her latest role, as the messed-up nymphomaniac hellcat Rae in Black Snake Moan, is seeing Ricci enjoy a new peak: her petite 5ft frame, intelligent 'gravedigger's forehead', as she has called it, Cupid's-bow mouth and expressive hazel eyes are everywhere in America - on Jay Leno's guest seat, on fashion magazine covers, on countless fansites. Black Snake Moan is a stylised Southern-gothic tale of sin, redemption and love that borders on the absurd, with Samuel L Jackson's Lazarus belting out some mean blues while saving Rae from her demons by chaining her to a radiator, Justin Timberlake as her adoring, equally traumatised soldier boyfriend, and a humid Deep South aesthetic that feels like a William Eggleston photograph brought to life....
There's three pages in all.

Also there's the official Penelope website which is now up...

Well there weren't any new ones. I do have this today...

Quote:

Christina Ricci interview
Christina Ricci in 'Black Snake Moan'
At 27, Christina Ricci is a veteran of the film business. She started out as a child actor with films like ‘Mermaids’ (1990) and ‘The Addams Family’ (1991) before developing a knack for playing mouthy teenagers and vulnerable women in films like ‘Buffalo 66’ (1998), ‘The Opposite of Sex’ (1998) and ‘Monster’ (2003). She bares all in Craig Brewer’s ‘Black Snake Moan’ as Rae, a wild young woman in the deep south who treats her body with zero respect until she meets Lazarus (Samuel L Jackson), an ageing divorcee who decides to teach her a lesson by chaining her to a radiator in his front-room.

Your character in ‘Black Snake Moan’ is a right old mess.
Yeah, she’s got a few problems. A few issues. She’s a girl suffering from post-traumatic stress from a childhood full of rape and abuse. But because her abuse when she was a child was sexual, then she looks to sexually abuse herself. It’s a way that a lot of victims have of stopping it from happening again: they do it to themselves. They’re the ones in control, degrading themselves, and abusing themselves, and no one else can have that power over them again.

That’s usually what happens to kids who go through that, unless they get help. She has these anxiety attacks. and usually if someone’s anxiety attacks are not treated then they will start drinking or cutting themselves – or something else that’s self-abusive....
