Jonny Lee Miller has defended ex-wife Angelina Jolie and has revealed they’re still good friends - even though she sent him to a minefield.

The couple were married for nearly three years before their divorce in 1999.

Jonny told chat show host Megan Mullally: “There’s so much crazy stuff written about Angie, but she’s just one of the most down-to-earth girls you’re likely to meet.”

“We’re such good friends that this documentary she’s been putting together about the globe - she’s sent film crews all around the world - that she’s sent me to a minefield in Angola…”

“[But] there’s a lot of love there.”
