| Junior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() | By then no one will even care.Originally set for release in March 2010. Amanda just announced on her Twitter Page her next film, called EASY A, comes out next September of 2010. So sad. She has nothing coming out before September 2010.She is really letting her fans down BIG TIME! I understand that Amanda probably had nothing to do with the release being pushed back but if Amanda had more work lined up instead of partying and twittering she could have been doing another film that could have come out before September 2010. It's all very frustrating. We love Amanda so much and to see her just flush her career and fans down the toilet is awful. RT @nemesis192003: So when are you coming out with a new movie?? Your a great actress!!! Thank u!! Next year!! Easy A comes out in Sept! ![]() http://twitter.com/amandabynes Last edited by cdc792000; 10-24-2009 at 11:36 PM.. |

Eventually Amanda's celebrity is going to fade and, considering the way she likes to frivolously spend money lately, the 4 million dollars that she made back in 2007 is going to dry up as well. Amanda's parents need to get involved, straighten her butt out and get her back on track before Amanda screws her career into the ground. I remember when Renee O'Connor (Gabrielle on Xena: Warrior Princess) was feeling at the top of the world after "Xena" concluded and refused to do any roles that she felt was beneath her. Well she was so picky that now she couldn't beg, buy or steal any kind of movie or television role and the only movies that she's done since "Xena" were 2 cheesy, low budget, trash movies for the SciFi Channel. So much for being to prideful and picky about the roles that are offered! So far Amanda hasn't sunk to this level yet but if she doesn't start paying active attention to her career NOW then she won't have a career to worry about at all later! Life has a way of giving you a swift kick in the butt if you become to picky about what is offered to you and you take your career and the things that you have (For Amanda, this includes her fans) for granted! . So in the meantime, until Amanda decides to take her career seriously, I'm going to divert more of my time to watching actresses such as Kaley Cuoco from "The Big Bang Theory", Elisha Dushku from "Dollhouse" and Jordana Spiro from "My Boys". At least they don't take their career and their fans for granted! * Last edited by Grate Oz; 10-25-2009 at 05:00 AM.. |

| Junior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() | I remember Amanda saying in a interview that she and her Mom got in a argument over Amanda wearing too much make up a couple years ago.Amanda may be the type who you do not tell what to do. No one tells her she is wearing too much make up. No one tells her her career is fading. She comes off as being very stubborn (is she a Taurus?) I would guess her parents see what we see and they are probably helpless. I also noticed that she tends to Tweet at very odd hours. One person even asked her when does she sleep? Good question. I agree with you Oz. I am focusing on Amber Heard and Emma Stone. I think both have very promising careers. I am also a fan of Anne Hathaway. Only thing with Amanda Bynes is I felt she set herself apart from all the others. Beauty, sense of humor, intelligence, good role model, and overall a down to earth girl next door type. I did hear that HAIRSPRAY director Adam Shankman is directing the new musical ROCK OF AGES. There are a couple parts in that I can see Amanda being perfect for. Could this be a future project for Amanda? I do know her and Adam are very good friends. http://www.buzzsugar.com/5757913 Maybe Amanda is waiting for HAIRSPRAY II to come together (God,I hope not) I spend less and less time here. I tend to check the forum and her twitter account once a day or so and more on the weekends. Never thought I would say this, but I care less and less about Amanda these days. We have to wait another year to see her in a movie.Could they at least release the pilot of CANNED for us fans until next year? ANYTHING would be great! |

| Member Newbie | I would not believe Amanda is living in the ghetto just yet. She has not had a breakout role really. it may not happen. There are other career paths for actresses out there. Everyone cannot be the main star, maybe hers is in supporting roles. Also remember she still has her Dear line of clothes so maybe there is still some money coming in there. If I like an actor I tend to stick with them no matter what their choices may be not just because they are super famous. I do not think that Amanda is or wants to be the next Megan Fox and have those type of roles. I am guessing here, but she looks to me to be more the Hillary Swank type of career. (just without any Oscars) Who knows? cdc - Amanda may be stubborn, but I agree she really does wear too much makeup sometimes. I mean the woman is only 24! |

But I have become profoundly frustrated and angry now. I have been tempted to post tweets to her along the lines of "Why aren't you funny anymore?," or "Get off your lazy butt and get busy!" But she would probably just block me. Too many people are heaping too much undeserved praise on her on Twitter and I fear that she has become just another Paris Hilton, someone who lives on and feeds off of their own celebrity. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am in her. But I still have a glimmer of hope that a very special role might come along and fire her engines. At least she still has her beauty. |

| Junior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() | I think Deer went out years ago so I don;t believe she has any $$$ coming in from that. She made 4 million in 2007? Really? WOW! I would guess most of that is gone by now, unless she invested it wisely. I think it's safe to say Amanda wants a career in Hollywood. That could mean anything from bit parts and steady work to A list films. Of course, Amanda could always pull a Nicole Kidman or Katie Holmes or Penelope Cruz and start dating a big A list actor. (Zac Efron and her would be great together) You are only as good as your next movie.Too many new young stars are taking the roles Amanda would be good for. Amanda has really done nothing to make her self stand out. I like Mila Kunis, Emma Stone,Natalie Portman,Amber Heard, Amanda Seyfried,Kristin Bell, and I have even grown to tolerate Meagan Fox. All these new young actresses and about a dozen more I have not even mentioned are attracting agents and casting directors. Amanda has not had a film out in 2 years and her next film is a year away. Does she think they are pounding her door down? Now,it can be argued that she is lining up projects as we speak. Yes, that may be true. However, most other actresses have films lined up and are currently working. Amanda does not seem to want to work at the moment.I honestly thinks she feels her fans will always be there and there are tons of offers waiting for her. I mentioned earlier that last weekend I spent time with my cousins who are all under 20. Only one remembered Amanda Bynes. All the others had no idea who she was. These are the kids going to movies once or twice a week. These are the kids who make or break new talent. I'll still a new Amanda film but I doubt I am going to be the fan I was 6 months ago just because I enjoy seeing those I admire work and not party. I use to like Lindsay Lohan. Now, I just feel sorry for her. Amanda, your latest film does not come out until 11 months from now. DO SOMETHING! Do theatre. Do an episode of 30 ROCK. DO another film. If she shoots a film say by December or January it's possible, depending on the type of film, that it could be out by spring or early summer. This should be her priority. Travel. Work through the holidays if you have to. Be apart from your family for 9-14 weeks if you have to, just do something. If you make your fans wait until September 2010,trust me,they won't be there waiting for you.I know the release date is something she does not control. However, if she had another film lined up or so it could have come out before then. If she did a film back a year ago she could have a new film out already. She needs to work steadily and always have another project lined up. Hey,her agent may drop her if she does not start working more. Who wants to waste their time on someone who says no to everything you offer? |

| Junior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() | Guess again. This forum use to be very busy. Most of the regulars have not posted in weeks or longer. Same with other forums I go to devoted to Amanda Bynes. Why should we wait around for someone who is too lazy to work? No, we will not be waiting and we will not be foaming at the mouth. Assuming Amanda will be able to get decent material,I may check out her work but I like many others are just losing our patience with her. Have you read any of the posts here lately? Have you been here to see this place is like a ghost town? |

| Junior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() | The fact that you have not read any of the posts here to see how upset her fans are proves my point. I'm still online. Looks like we signed on at the same time. So me replying too fast somehow validates your claim? LOL! Read what other posters are saying. I'm still a fan of Amanda, obviously or I would not be here. I am frustrated and disappointed. If Amanda finds work, then yes, your post will be correct(minus the foaming at the mouth bit) Til then, read on and see how her fans feel. True enough but Amanda is hardly living a frugal lifestyle what with wearing designer clothes, designer shoes, designer jewelery, shopping regularly at exclusive boutiques on Rodeo Drive and, finally, owning one or two rather expensive vehicles. This doesn't count her trips to NY every couple of weeks or her easily expensive nights out in both the "Big Apple" as well as LA! And now she is toying with the idea of setting up a residence in NY as well! Hardly an inexpensive proposition! All of these thing require a rather large expenditure money and Amanda is burning through it like there is No Tomorrow! Even is you believe the notion that the Mayan calendar is correct, the world will end and there will be No Tomorrow on December 12 of 2012, Amanda will have burned through that 4 million bucks (that she earned back in 2007) well before then!! I've done that many times here, passed out, had strokes and major heart attacks and will probably continue to do so any time a pic of Amanda is posted. Seriously, I have lived in Independence, VA for 11 years now and I have been a rabid Amanda fan since I first moved in and got cable and started watching The Amanda Show. Now, before you go and question the right of a forty-something man to love Amanda, let me remind you that, in her early teen years, I loved her because she made me laugh out loud, not because of anything to do with sexuality. Now, I seriously lust for her because that's all I CAN do since there are no projects to enjoy. The sexiest women in the world are the ones who can make you laugh! I honestly think that Bette Midler is gorgeous beyond belief because she makes me roll in the floor. Even if Amanda loses her astonishing looks, I will still love her as long as she has work that I enjoy. But the thought of waiting another year for a new project makes me wonder about my sanity and commitment. And Easy A does NOT float my boat...I hate teen comedies as a rule (except for John Hughes of course), and it looks like Amanda is the next Molly Ringwald. And that is not a compliment! Hell, maybe Amanda should knock off a department store and at least she could generate some publicity for that like a certain famous teen actress did. | Moderator ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I haven't been at the forums for awhile, just a quick glance daily to make sure there is no spam or nonsense from hate mongers. I have been sick, and still am terribly. Glad to have a caring family to nurse me through this awfulness. Sigh, I have to miss the church Halloween carnival. I am disappointed at it being push back 5 months. The move can only mean either the studio is in some kind of financial strait and needs to delay time to probably advertise and boot it out or that it has little faith on the money byproduct of this film. January & September are usually the months where studios expect to make the least income. I really had high hopes in the potential awesomeness of the film, with the great cast and all, This move, dampens my faith. I am hoping that Easy A does not face some same outcome as Sydney White. (Poorly advertised, and that the script could have been better but is still wonderful due to the amazing Amanda Bynes). |

I do hope for that matter though she picks up a fair few projects soon though ![]() I want another tv series!!!! WILAY WAS THE BEST!!!!! it's what started the amanda craze for me ![]() |

| Richy ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | mmm yeh this place is starting to seem pretty dead. Haven't had any replies for days now. it's a major difference from back a few months ago.
