NOPE!!! She hasn't responded any of my tweets yet. She went and fraked up the colors on her Twitter page, is all flustered about it and doesn't know how to fix it. I tweeted instructions to her on how to fix the problem. We'll see if see if she responds to that tweet.

She has tweeted similar things in the past. Just because she read a good script it does not mean the part is hers. Maybe this script will not be ready to start shooting for another year or maybe Amanda has to audition for the part. WHo knows. AManda also tweeted that she had singing lessons. Again, she has said this before.

Frankly, I get nervous when Amanda tweets publicly about stuff like this. I always guess it's meant for someone else to read and not us fans.She would either be quiet until she had more definitive information she could share or she would be a tad more candid. This is teasing and I have grown not to trust Amanda when she tweets about stuff of this nature. Now, if she went into some more detail and acknowledge her fans and talk directly to them I would take it with more credibility. My guess is, she wants a certain someone to read the tweets and call her up. Amanda appears to be addicted to attention in the same way a 14 year old is.(and I mean that in the nicest way)

So, does Amanda read Fanhost? Here is what she just tweeted:

"Had a lovely meeting today for an awesome movie that would be different from than anything I've ever done! : ) "

I and a few others have been nagging Amanda to do something.Let's face it, Oz, Timothy, and I have been on Amanda's back for weeks. I do not recall Amanda EVER tweeting stuff like that before and now all of a sudden she informs us by Twitter that not only has she read a great script and is having singing lessons, but now she has taken in a meeting for a very "different" movie?

Amanda, we love you. This is why we are voicing our concerns. It all sounds great. So did moving to NYC and getting a new puppy. However, tat was weeks and days ago. Actions speak louder than words. I don't want to hear about your next movie until you have finished shooting it and have an exact release date. Teasing your fans is only going to annoy us. Either hold off telling us until you have everything confirmed and you have enough details to share or just stay Mum. I have a girlfriend who loves leaving cryptic messages on my voice mail that usually are something like this, "OMG Candace! You will not believe who I saw today. She will be just be amazed! It was so weird! Trust me Candace, you will freak out.I'm going out for the night and will have my phone off but I will call you sometime tomorrow or the next day. Bye!"

DRIVES.ME.CRAZY! Well, it's sort of like Amanda is doing that now with us fans. Trust me, I think it's great she has found a decent script and that she is working and focusing on her career. But telling us about a great film you may or may not do does not tell us much. I was preparing myself for EASY A. March was not that far off. Well, now I hear I have to wait almost another year. Unless Amanda starts shooting this new film in the next few weeks and it will be out before EASY A, I can not get too excited.If we're talking about a new film to come out within the next few months, that is very different.

So she doesn't write serious, interesting tweets. WHO DOES? Celebs can never do something right. I mean, they call Britney Spears unpersonal because she only writes tweets about her music and hardly anything about where she is/ what she's doing.

I mean, some people even write: "I'm sitting in the train" You can't tell me that's interesting.

And if you can't stand reading them, just don't read them

Her Tweets are the only thing interesting going on with her at the moment. I love reading them (obviously) I can't stand the fact this is what she seems to be doing for a living these days. Tweeting. Would love to see her work or act.Guess I'll have to settle for the Tweets.

Thanks for the news Candace, I haven't read her twitter in a while.
I hope the new project is the one that she described in the Cosmo Mag, something different and new, and surprise the audience in a good way.
I hope she start working on it soon if her role in it is affirmed.

I still think don't think there is anything wrong with Amanda being a little juvenile in her twitter. I know plenty of people, who i considered antisocial acting kid-ish on their social networking site. People are more comfortable to be someone else and act with less restraint on the internet. They feel more safe behind a computer screen. Heck, I sometime check the twitter on leading politicians, activists, and teachers...their tweets have been brief and kid-ish sometimes.

I have no problems with the way Amanda uses her Twitter, it is no different than the way anyone else uses it. However I do think she is crying for attention a bit, look at these two tweets:

When everyone told her not to delete her Twitter she said OK I won't! I think she's just searching for something.
