Amanda has great fans!

Have you guys noticed this or is it just me. I started reading this forum when I heard people at work trashing Amanda. More about that later. So, I wanted to hear what her fans had to say. I was amazed how well you treat each other, even when you disagree. This place is like a breath of fresh air. I have been going on the internet since 1990 and most forums are total free-for-alls spewing nothing but poison.

I should have known that Amanda would attract only the coolest people. I must admit, I didn't even know who Amanda was until I saw her on Hairspray. I became an instant fan. So I went backwards and watched all her former work. She is one of the cutest, sweetest, funniest people I have ever seen. She can crack me up more with just a facial expression than most actors can with a page of well written dialog. She's a real treasure, and from what I've seen so far.... so are her fans. I commend you. Oh, and thanks Pranksalot for giving me an idea for a screen name.

Also, does anyone know when the second season of WILAY will be out on dvd?

This forum really is fantastic, as you have noticed. Amanda reached so many fans from all over the world and all the best ones are right here

To answer your question about WILAY season 2: Well, I don't think anyone here knows exactly when (or if) season 2 will see a DVD release. Maybe the sales for season 1 weren't as good as they had hoped and therfore decided not to go ahead and release the next season. I didn't buy season 1 and I wont be buying season 2 if they ever release it only because I don't support the changing of theme songs on TV series DVD releases. It's a slap in the face to the fans if you ask me.

Wow, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Thailand, Portugal, I didn't know Amanda was such an international star. Those are all places I plan to visit in a few years! I'm curious, how did you know about Amanda? Was it her movies, tv, etc. ?

Sparky, thanks for the info. I wondered why the theme song didn't match. I couldn't load the site you linked. I live in the country and we only get dial-up out here.

In 2000 i first saw Amanda on Nickelodeon on All that and The Amanda Show.
I recognized myself in her, hyperactive, girly and down-to-earth. Thats basically why i started folowing her life.

Amanda has changed in many ways but i'll alway support her in what she does.

I was addicted to All That when I was a kid. Well.. I was pretty much addicted to all the shows on Nick. All That was always my favorite though.
