Wow!, Amanda is in A special edition of Self Magazine for cancer month. Hopefully we can get the full scans are read this article. She said her grandmother was diagnosed with cancer, I bet that played a role in her donating her salary to cancer research.

I can't wait to read that article. It definitely means a lot to a lot of people. My own grandmother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer years ago, and now that she's in remission, I do pretty much anything I can to support awareness, it's a really big deal and I admire Bynes for doing this movie, even if it could, kind of be considered below her.

I went to get the mag, there really wasnt anything else to scan. Theres that photo above and a small one from the Living Proof website we already saw. There is no article but the small photo is a 3 sentence caption. She said; He grandmother did die from having cancer and of very old age, she did donate the money in her memory. She aslo said in the other sentence that its very important to get mammograms when the doctor tells everyone to.

Ya, her grandmother must be very proud of her, especially for this.

I think Amanda did well with this one. This movie has some meaning to her. And she used it as an opportunity to raise some money and awareness to the cause. Amanda Bynes... she's a great person first, an actress second.
