im happy for her thats she is enjoying her life, but it does suck now that she has a boyfriend! i mean i still like her like a fan but its would be nice if she liked me! lol

He looks so formal in a dress shirt and tie where she looks more casual. Amanda needs to start dressing her man (LOL).She's showing him off more and more these days. I wonder if they got their place together and are living together. Amanda hates being alone and they could be taking it to the next level. I can see Amanda in a long term relationship before getting married. Could Josh be "the one"?

Yep. That's the plan. As soon as they see those paparazzi they split up in different directions so they can never get a good picture of them together.

It sucks that they have to do that but I guess it's either that or wake up the next morning and find a picture of Amanda and her "new mystery man" on the cover of one of those tabloid magazines, sprinkled with some spice of course. You know how they do

Would it kill her to at least be seen next to him? Seriously, if I didn't know any better I would think the older man was her boyfriend with Josh, as usual off to the sides. If she is going to go public with him and mention she has a boyfriend in interviews and go so far as to say he is cute, sweet, a web designer, and so on and start becoming more bold showing him off, why not just hold hands and show some affection? I LOVE Amanda but she is coming off as sort of a controlish diva at this point. We understood why you kept him quiet and wanted to keep the relationship a low profile but girl, YOU are the one talking him up now. I mean, more so than she did a few months ago when she said she did not have a boyfriend but she was dating.

If she's going to go public with him you can't do it half way. Either say you have a BF and be proud or keep it quiet til your ready. Like I said, she looks more chummy with the older guy than she does Josh. I think she sometimes over thinks her image. She looks very tense in these pics, but she still looks GREAT!

You're jumping into major conclusions here. Have you at least consider that...maybe...Josh doesn't want his picture taken...maybe he's anti-hollywood...and that it is not Amanda who is hiding him? Josh could possibly be the one wants to conceal himself. Amanda is the kind of person who doesn't like media attention anyways, so she doesn't want her relationsip to appear in tabloids and such unlike Zac Efron and Vanessa H.

Perhaps this is a wise tactic for Amanda part. IF Amanda and Josh/any boyfriend is together, the Papazzarris would snap up pictures like crazy. The Paps loves taking pictures of couples and they can hound them and distract them from whatever they're doing. If AManda and Josh/any bf split up and meet at the destination in seperate ways...they can be at the event or somewhere to do an activity together faster than going together. The paps will get tired and leave. This is just a speculation.

IF Amanda wants to keep her private life..."private" let's respect it and not question it.

I totally agree with Pranks here. Josh may be the one who doesnt really want the life or attention. They both seem like pretty key. Also sometimes its more of a pain in the a$$ to deal with the paparazzi then to just split up when they come. I also think she came out with the info in the interview because she had to, most of the photohouses already listed him as her boyfriend when he was in the picture before the interviews, you cant deny something that so many people already know.

Ether way im not sure I see it as such a big deal.

Well, Zac and Vanessa are A) both actors and B) in a popular film franchise with a ton of fans. Josh isn;t really that famous. Halle Berry is seen with her BF and he is not really that famous and they seem fine with it. I am not dissing Amanda, I just think maybe she should have stayed mum on having a bf if he or she is not ready for the attention.

You say Amanda is not the type who likes media attention. Well, that may be but she's in the wrong profession if thats her attitude. I personally feel she is taking a rather immature approach to the situation, but you and me both don't know the entire story. We both are just speculating here. I'm not famous not is my boyfriend but I love showing him off whenever we go out. Other stars don't seem to be so guarded. If Josh doesn't like the media attention I have to ask how long will this relationship last? Amanda wants a long career and if he can't get use to it now then when? For Amanda to start talking about him tells me they are doing well and things like this I am sure have come up.We all sacrifice something for the ones we love.

Prince Harry is not even this guarded with his girlfriend.The paps seem to be pretty nice to Amanda. Other than snapping pics of her they really don't trash her or make up lies about her (or at least not yet anyways) I remember pics back in January or February where they went to the movies and the same thing happened. He was about 3 or 4 paces behind her and the same when they went to Hawaii.

I'm not saying its a big deal but its very noticeable and its the type of thing the paps WILL JUMP ON, I am sure of it. I just hope i the future we don't see anymore pics of them acting like they are strangers in public.Just my 2 cents.

Amanda has actualy talked about that. She has mentioned that she loves to act but she has also said she doesnt really like being on red carpets or doing photoshoots. We can tell she doesnt try to go where the paparazzi or the press are like plenty of other young stars. I guess like all jobs there are some trade offs, things you have to deal with.

Like you said we dont know the whole story, no idea whats going threw there heads, whos idea it is, or the reason for it.

I respect Amanda's privacy. And most importantly, I understand why she wants privacy.

I think she is very smart with what she is doing.

So what if she mentioned she had a boyfriend in an interview in a magazine article. That doesn't mean she has to tell everybody his name and show the whole world pictures of him. The only people who really paid attention to that interview are her fans anyway.

Besides, Amanda has been asked how she stays out of the tabloids and avoids all the pitfalls that other celebrities seem to fall in. Well, this question she has answered many many times. And she always says: "In order for me to function as a normal person, I have to keep my private life private."

And there is nothing more to say about that. She's not some random girl in high school who can show off. She is a celebrity. It's a whole different game with different consequences.

Hmm...I recalled when Amanda was called a Diva when she attended the Film Festival in 2007. The story was Jasmine Guy was yelling at Amanda for not showing up to any events. Which was untrue, there was pictures of Amanda showing up at least three events. The two events Amanda did not attend was a celebrity cruise and a "smoking or tobacco-related event." Guy's husband even apologized to Amanda for Guy's behavior and outburst. That part was conviently left out by several articles.

How about the recent movie premiere Amanda attended, Run Fat Boy Run? Amanda went to the premiere with her sister and tried to get into the theater quickly without a photo opt. The Paps "booed" at her and Amanda complied and went back to get pictures taken. The paps were calling Amanda the B word even though Amanda came back to let them take her pictures.

All the videos where I seen Amanda posing for the cameras, the paps would yell at Amanda and tell her how to pose and where to look. So many voices at once, no wonder Amanda doesn't like to have her picture taken in public often. It's straining getting your picture taken almost everyday and those annoying flashes.
