Former child star AMANDA BYNES is a terrible drunk - she can't swallow a drop of alcohol without vomiting.

The 22-year-old actress may be old enough to legally drink in her native U.S. but admits she gets sick too quickly - so prefers to stay sober.

Bynes says, "I'm not a big drinker. I puke every single time I get drunk."

"On my birthday, I'll go out, but I'll probably not go out again until my next birthday, which is kind of depressing. I'm tired at night, and I don't have that energy."

There's nothing wrong with having a drink every now and then but I'm not so sure about this article. The second quote sounds like something she'd say but she doesn't seem like the type that would get drunk since we've heard her say how many times she doesn't drink or even like the smell of alcohol.

She learned her lesson not to drink much that is why she says that she doesn't like to drink.
Getting drunk is no big deal. It's not a crime. It is only considered bad if you are not responsible about it such as driving under the influence. Almost everyone I know got drunk at least once during their life time. Amanda could had been at a family get-together. Some of my friends family get-togethers are wild and funny. Most of the family members get drunk and do wierd things. For me, I have never consumed alcohol and probably never will. I don't like the smell of it, yeah...I'm kind of an oddball. My friends think so as well.

she said, that she is not huge drinker, many times. on tyra show i remember, she said that she actually doesn't drink.. however, maybe it's because of some contraindications? many people just don't drink for medical reasons, not because they don't want to..

but anyway, i don't like girls who drink lots of alcohol.. i think it's disgusting. and i love amanda because she's trying to stay away from that..

Fo shizz I agree with you all. Haha, I don't like girls who drink a lot either, it's a huge turn off that they think they have to do that to be interesting or attractive.

There using the same quote in the other tabloid (I think it was OK) did in the thread about her 22nd birthday. She never said she has never drank, just that she rarely does it and doesnt really like it. I think its somewhat consistent with this, though as you know tabloids usually add a little something to quotes to make things sound more dramatic.

I cant say im surprised that she has drank before, it really isnt a big deal unless your totally irresponsible with it. The once and a while drink, special occasion, or something with a special dinner, not really a big deal. From every quote or article we have seen, its clear she doesnt party hard or drink much, the tabloids cant even manage to spin that (knowing that there trying). I guess I feel that way because its never been much of an issue. This Saturday night where going out for a big family dinner, its was my sisters 21 birthday was this week, im sure a dozen or so martini’s will be ordered to the table.

Well I enjoy sucking back some beer and liquor sometimes especially at parties. I don't mind girls that drink as long as the don't go crazy with it.

I think it's great that she's not a big drinker. It only means she'll live a healthier life.

There's nothing wrong with having a drink or two to celebrate a birthday or a wedding. You just have to know when enough is enough. That's what makes the difference.

And yeah, I also don't believe the first quote in this article is entirely accurate.

Personally, I really like Bynes. While I was too old to be watching it, I will admit that I thought her skit show "The Amanda Show" on Nickelodeon was funny and beyond her years for its time. Nice. I am glad she doesnt drink like other people do not only celebrieites. Drinking much isnt something you must brag about and its not suitable for a women I think. Amanda is wise as usual
