As far as comedy is concerned, I don't think anyone at that age-level is better than Amanda.

And it's true what this article said about Amanda's performance in Hairspray. She did so much with that small role. I remember walking out of the theater at the end of the movie and overhearing a couple (probably husband and wife) speaking about how "that girl who played Penny stole the show". I don't even think they knew who Amanda Bynes even was.

Negativity where? Besides that LiveJournal I found. Every articles/professional site tends to mentioned positively towards Amanda. It is those bystanders/minority w/ no life except for critizing someone by how they looks and calling Amanda inappropriate names.
