I think there is a little bit of sarcasm in there.

Amanda's, even though they may have fought, is an example of good parenting, the Spears family who probably let there kinds do anything and have anything they want, an example of horrific parenting. And whats probably the worst thing, after going threw all of this, I would bet they still dont understand, any of them.

I dont see a problem with it. Many young girls look up to both Amanda and Jamie-Lynn as role models, you have to stand up and disaprove loud and clear.

She wasn't saying anythig against Jamie Lynn, she was just saying that she has a dog and that's a lot of work. So, if that's a lot of work, a kid must be 10 times harder. But in a funnier way.

It seems a little condescending and sarcastic, like she is saying duh!, dont get pregnant at 16. It seems like disapproval without coming out and saying it directly. But I find it completely appropriate.

You have to put it in context. The problem here is we don't know what the question was. It could have been something like this for all we know:

Reporter: What do you think Jamie-Lynn Spears is going through being pregnant at 16?

Amanda: Well, I have never been 16 and pregnant... (sarcasm for: Uhhh why are you asking me? How the heck should I know?)

brusha and open32 are correct with their comments above. That's exactly how I understood it as well. Sometimes it's hard to detect sarcasm and humor in a text interview. But I know that's all it was.

The title of the article is "Amanda Bynes' Funny Line of the Day"... And it's nothing more than that.

What a JLS did was a mistake so i think peeps should 4give her now.
