AB time out needed?

I have looked over some interviews when I came across this little one. It talks abotu Amanda and her acrrier and compares the movies she has done and finalising with a sentece like:

Uh. I definitely think it's Hollywood not knowing what to do with actual talent. They seem to like to cast movies or tv shows first based on image and who's going to create the most buzz THEN look at acting skills as a bonus.

Amanda has definitely not squandered her fame. She's been in less movies than other celebrities her age because she cares about selecting good work and not a paycheck or a headline. She's 21 and she just now got her own clothing line which is pretty much her first side job and was successful.

She's not like these other celebrities who have a 20,000 different projects going with not one of them being good. Paris Hilton, the girls from 'The Hills', and all these other celebrities who are famous just for being famous are the ones who need to take a break.

We all know Amanda is a great actress. She is very picky and Hairspray and STM turned out to be really good choices. I dont think there is any star out there who hasnt had a movie do bad at the box office. Especialy since with SW there was no advertising or studio suport. I think many people are just looking for her to do something a little different. She is still only 21, she doesnt have to rush out and do 3 random movies every year.

I agree with Entertainment Weekly's judgment that Sydney White was a weak film for Bynes. It was pleasant, but it didn't do anything for her career. She needs to be a little more daring in her choices from now on.

Yeah I agree. Amanda has to be in better movies to push her career to the next level.
