WHY HER She's the Girl Next Door. Consistently affable, Bynes is a brand in and of herself, with a TV show (The Amanda Show), a coming-of-age comedy (What a Girl Wants), and a blockbuster musical (Hairspray) under her belt.

WHAT'S NEXT Apparently, she's busy being 21: for now, nothing's lined up.

They at least used a newer photo too.

I know I sound kind of negative, but Amanda is taking a "very" long time in deciding what she wants to do next. I don't think she will be even filming a movie by June when the SAG contract expires cause most studios wants to film movies by April to avoid a potential strike which will shut down work. A report of attachment on a project usually needs to appear at two month ahead of time before production and it is now March. There is almost no chance of an Amanda movie for this year if she doesn't finish filming a movie by May/June. I hope she gets really busy soon because she should take advantage of the fact that she is hot property right now. Being too picky on roles is not a good thing either. Everyone in HSM and Hairspray is working on side projects already. Hilary Duff have recently completed 2 projects and even Lohan is signed up for a project in April and is rumored to be attached to several other in offical reports.

I thought before that Amanda is going to make lots of films once she stop doing a tv series because you can only film during a hitatus. Now Amanda is like still doing one movie per year. I hope she finds a new series to star in so that we can see fresh material of hers weekly.

I hope she decides on something soon. Another TV series would be really cool. Maybe she already has something planned but nothing has been announced yet. At least that's what I'm hoping.

Sometimes we dont actualy find out abut a project untill the very last minute, for Sydney White we sure didnt have 2 months notice, and Robots was totaly done before we found out about it. Those attachment reports dont get released untill the studio wants them to be or there leaked.

We really dont know wether its Amanda not making a movie because she hasnt chose something yet or some other kind of delay, an example being a director pulling out at the last minute, or set building if its a big set. She could already be attached to one of more projects that just hvent started filminf yet.

Ether way the writers strike hasnt been done that long, there is still all of March and April. Lets hope we have one for this year.

Maybe she has no movie on the role or maybe she has..But there is another optino: Maybe she is thinking about joining some college considering this strike etc etc Maybe she will surprise us by joining a college and going to school. Who knows?!

I really doubt Amanda will suprise us by announcing that she wants to go to college. She have a 5 year contract w/ Steve & Barry...it is almost impossible to have that kind of job and be going to school. ALso she always mentions that she really wants to go back to work.

Open32...we knew that Amanda was in Sydney White since November 2006(IMDB was one of the few places). It was announce more excessively in January 2007 and then she filmed it in Feb. 2007.

I dont think Amanda will put acting on hold for college right now, she is more populare then she has ever been coming off of Hairspray and with the cothing line.
