Amanda is rumored to star in Lady Godiva

"That ever-reliable rag Star Magazine reports that child-star turned hottie Amanda Bynes might ditch the nice-girl image to ride buck-naked on a horse through the town square. Rumor has it that Hairspray’s Permanently Punished Penny Pingleton has signed on to play Lady Godiva in an upcoming flick."

What do you guys think? It would be a great opportunity for Amanda to do a different role. They can definitely do the scene without her being naked. But at least it isn't for a sex scene.

This is a bit to rumourish for me. I saw what website this was posted on and went to star mags website. Not even they put it on there site, which I wouldnt hold to much stock in even if it was.

As for the movie: I think the story sounds a bit boring for a movie, and I like historical pecies. They can definitely do it PG13, without anything really being shown.<o:p></o:p>

It may be different but I dont see it appealing to her audience, which you can still appeal to while doing something more mature. And if there is nudity it may alienate a lot of them, like all the Disney fans who turned away from Vanessa Hudges (im sure you all know the story on that).<o:p></o:p>

From what she has said as recently as this latest talk show run it kinda implies she wouldnt want to do nudity. Id be pretty against her doing this movie if it did.<o:p></o:p>

I think it's just a fat fake rumor spread around because to alot of people it will come as a suprise because when we think of Amanda, it's clean, wholesome, funny.

I think it's just to give some spark in the tabloid world. I really doubt she will do this film anyways. but I do like the plot where she fights the new taxes that her husband set up for the peasants. Also the character in the movie is kind of wild. It will definitely show the range of Amanda acting skills if she does take on this movie.

I agree with you guys. It would be good for Amanda to do something different but I don't think this is the right choice to go from a college student to a naked horseback rider. There's probably something in betweens she can do, like maybe a quirky romantic comedy or even a drama-dy. But if she does do it, I'm sure it will be good. We'll have to see.

Well to me this doesn't sound like a role she would go for either. Unless they do it with a lot of class and portray a good message throughout the film I doubt she would be involved with it.

Besides, this is Star Magazine... half the things they print are lies and exaggerations.

Amanda in this type of movie ... I don't know.
We will have to wait and she if she is really going into it.
