I saw Sydney White

Here is my review of Sydney White.

Earlier tonight my sister and I got to go to the theater and see a pre screening of Sydeny White. Its very funny, much of the theater laughed out loud a lot; we both loved it. The movie is great, just as good as She's The Man. The 3 main characters where all cast well. There are a few modernized throwbacks to Snow White. There’s lots of funny scenes mixed with some good goofy stuff, there are also times where Amanda made everyone laugh with only an expression, something she does a few times in most of he roles. Its another really good Amanda movie, she is cute and funny as usual, so go see it.

I'm glad you thought it was as good as STM.

No, not dirty or sexual, no more or less then STM. The word B*tch was used a few times and she rips her dress of in one scene and there where a few light sex jokes.

Cool I'm glad to hear it. I didn't think Amanda would choose a role like that, and it's not that I have a problem with it, it's just that Amanda is better than that.

After watching all the tv spots. I gotta say that they make the movie look rather cheesy. For a movie that is so good, it is not getting the trailer/tv spots/advertisement it deserve. I was rather disappointed when the offical website turned out to be a myspace. I'm kinda afraid for Sydney White. I just hope there will be alot of positive reviews for the movie, so that people who complain about how bad the movie look by the trailer will give this movie a chance.

There going for the word of mouth marketing with all the previews of the movie and all rather then TV ads. I have see TV ads in certain places like Beauty and the Geek and ABC Families Greek. But your right, the trailer doesnt do a great job in showing how good as the movie is. Bigger budget movies get more advertising.

I have not seen a movie threater trailer yet for it.

I saw the movie today with my mom. There were quite a few people in the theater so I am surprised that it only made 1.7 million on Friday.

I was really happy with it. It was better than I thought it would be. There were a lot of funny laugh out loud moments and a lot of jokes that were smart and funny. It was a different kind of teen movie because it celebrated everyone and made a point to accept differences. Amanda carried the movie really well but also stepped aside so you could see all of the dorks, who were very funny. She showed that she is awesome at comedy and at more dramatic moments with her dad. It could have gotten a PG because it was barely trashy.

I can't decide if I liked this better than She's the Man but it's definitely right up there with it. I only hope it becomes a bigger hit for Amanda and everyone involved since it really is a great movie.

I went to the movies tonigh. Eeeerrr, I feel bad I didnt support Sydney White, the people I was with wanted to see Resident Evil, since I already saw SW and I also kinda wanted to see RE, we went to that. But I will no doubt see SW again.

^Yeah I don't blame you. Idk if Sydney White is really a movie to pay $8 to see twice although it was very good. A lot of people probably thought that who went to the screenings.
