| Newbie | i was there for a half hour and wound up in group 26. I had to leave a half hour after she started signing. We were outside waiting to move forward. I would have reached her table probably in 1hr. 30 mins. The store opened at 11 and she started signing at 11:30. I have no clue how early people got there to be first in line(and don't want to know). Autograph signings are more like going to the water fountain with your class then a party with Amanda. The store and Amanda's people did a good job of keeping things in order...but you feel more like a stranger than her friend like you might while watching her as an actress. Even though she is a great person and you'd think you'd like to be friends with her...at these types of venue's it's not supportive. Last edited by alw2010; 08-27-2007 at 06:32 PM.. |

| Bynes=Love ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ^ That sucks, but I can see why it's done that way. There's so many people there and security issues they don't want people to get hurt and they want everyone to get Amanda's autograph so they have to operate like that I'm guessing. I bet if Amanda had it her way it would be more casual. She was very talkative and friendly with fans at a "STM" screening they showed her at on her Diary. |
