"Today was the day that teen star Amanda Bynes' clothing line Dear launched at the mass retailer, and the uber-tan, apple-cheeked girl was there in the flesh to sign autographs. Judging by crowd size, Bynes has more fans than Sarah Jessica Parker, as this morning's line far exceeded what we encountered when Bitten debuted."

Wow, thanks for those HQ's Pranks. She changed her hair back to the curly, I liked it stright. She looks hot here, look at that pose.

Here's one of the people who saw Amanda at the event story

"We moved up in the line a little bit, but the signing hadn't really started. All of a sudden you hear screaming and you can see Amanda Bynes walking out across the mall; she was walking the line of people, shaking hands and saying thanks for coming. Oh hell yes.

I got my camera ready. My battery was dying and I feared the worst. Haha. She came over... and she took my hand... and said, "Thank you for coming!"... I almost died. No lies. She was super cheery and wicked nice through the whole ordeal. AND she's crazy beautiful too... She exists outside of movies and television? Surely, you jest. I continued to utter, "She touched me! Amanda touched me!" for the rest of the line waiting... and into the night.

Again, there was more waiting. At around 11am, they started letting people into the store to get things signed. I don't remember about the time we got in there, but it was crazy strict. You had to hand over your bag(s) and cameras before you went up to meet her. You had to have her sign only the sheet that they gave you and nothing else. No personalization and no pictures with her. You could take pictures afterwards, which is what I did, of course.

I went up and said hi... I turn into a stuttering fool when it comes to celebrities. I said, "It's so nice to meet you!"
And she says, "It's nice to meet you too!" and she signed the sheet.
I said, "Thank you so much!"
And she said, "You're welcome! Thanks for coming out today!"

Yayyyy! I frolicked over take pictures, which was rather difficult to do, that being the reason I don't have a great, great shot of her. Jon came and found us after we had settled ourselves. He'd put on one of the stickers from Amanda's clothing line on his shirt. I guess Amanda noticed and said, "I like your sticker!" Haha. Excellent.

Ashley and I checked out some of the clothes that were released for Amanda's line. They're actually pretty cute. There's a lot more than was previewed online."

Here's another story of the event

"OMG. Amanda Bynes is like SO FREAKING HOT.
I got to Manhattan Mall around 9AM with Lily and started getting on line. Quite frankly, the line wasn't as long as I expected, but I saw some people I knew who were way up front, but they weren't like people I knew like that. Anywho, so we like hung out at our little space, making videos of our little misery from waiting in line for so long as well as obtaining a whole bunch of free stuff: three books, one pack of playing cards, one pack of buttons, one tshirt, two packs of stickers, and a lot of album samples. However, at 10:30AM, Amanda Bynes finally made her appearance and walked around the whole circle to shake hands and say hi to people. And I made a video of her coming my way. I SHOOK HER HAND!! I don't remember how it felt, but she was amazingly beautiful. Like, wayyyy more beautiful than the movies. I was trembling and in awe.
But yeah, we waited again in line till 12PM to get our autographs, and at first- I thought they were gonna go cheap on it and just give us pre-signed autographs on her photo, but we actually got to go in and watch her sign it. AND IT WAS ****ING AMAZING. She was DROP DEAD GORGEOUS! This was my like 2 second conversation with her:
Me: [stuttering] Hi!!
Amanda: Hi! How've you been doing today?
Me: I'm alright. And you?
Amanda: Great. You're looking cute today!
Me: O________O; Thank you!
[gets shooed away]

AHHHH! SHE SAID I WAS CUTE.

I wasn't able to get any photos with her because it just wasn't possible, and I wasn't really able to snap a lot of photos of her either 'cause people were always blocking her. But hey! I got one photo, one handshake, and one conversation from her. I feel pretty damn lucky."
