Positive reviews for Hairspray

So far there are three critics. Unfortunately only one out of the three reviews so far posted how wonderful Amanda is in the movie. Its mostly the older cast members that gets mention and efron and blonsky.

They all see like good reviews. I think its great someone said Amanda was great, im sure there will be more.

Zac and Nikki are the main characters in this.

Thanks again pranksalot! Great reviews! Everyone seems to like this movie. Only a few more weeks... I can't wait!

It's too bad Amanda doesn't get mentioned a whole lot in these reviews but like open32 said, she isn't the main character. But I'm sure she lights up the screen in all of her scenes.

I am so thrilled with the great reviews it is getting! Critics are notorious for savaging filmed musicals but they seem to have embraced this one. I think it's going to be a big hit!

I don't want to read any reviews but I don't get a lot of the hype around Zac Efron. He didn't even sing in HSM, he was dubbed.

Great reviews for a great movie

It's doing pretty well compared with other great movies.
I'm not surprised to know that the attention is going to Zac and Nikki.
They're the main characters but I'm sure Amanda will be noticed in the movie and in the end she will get good reviews too

Here in the UK we are embargoed from posting a review online until the 20th. I have to say the whole movie rocks I'm giving it 5 out of 5. And don't worry Amanda gets a big mention in my review.

" the real stars of this move i must say are Amanda Bynes and Alison Janney. they steal every scene they are in( and that's not too many in the case of Allison).. Amanda has some of the best one liners (as Adam Shankman introduced her he said she was this generations Lucille Ball) and comic scenes. I particularly like her interaction with Traci during i hear the bells"
