why do you have to have posted 50 posts or over to be able to see the starlets forum?

Because there're fanhost rules. With 50 posts you are not a newbie anymore - it's not my case - and you can use a custom avatar. 50 posts is very easy to achieve.
Just post.

The rule was set up to encourage the many lurkers (100's) we have to join up and also like a reward for no longer being a newbie. Just like you can get stars, custom avatars, and special tiles. Like Val said its actually very easy to achieve.

It doesn't matter now cuz I got 50 posts but i didn't like it leading up to it. I'm definetly not a lurker, I've been around since January of 2004 and had about 1700 posts, but I don't post like 20 at a time, so it took me a little while to get back to non-newbie once the new forums started, and now I'm way behind everyone.
