This is the idea.

If you are a good newbie, and I know that you are a good one, comlete the sentence with your best thought. We, the newbies, I'm a newbie too, must show to the others that we are capable and can do our best to fanhost. So we are good newbies. Did you understand all of you?

I'm a good newbie because ... I'm a generally nice guy who likes to help other posters out!

But what if we don't consider ourselves good posters. I mean almost all the other regulars - (and non-newbies) are mod or have been mod at one time. So I guess I'm a relatively bad poster.

I'll try to complete another sentence instead:

I try to be a good poster because ... this is, after all, a nice place and I don't want to be in the doghouse. Therefore I don't flame my co-posters

and talk to them about what they want to talk about (which means I prefer to respond to threads instead of making own ones).
